A DIFFERENT WORLD
Netflix Original
Netflix
Growing up, we enjoyed our weekly episodes of A Different World that took us to Hillman College which was the spinoff from The Cosby Show that followed Denise Huxtable as she made her way to this fictional HBCU. For fans of this show we fell in love with a cast of characters that were coming into their own as they transitioned from living at home with their parents to the beginning stages of adulting!
In Netflix’s A Different World, we are introduced to new characters as well as those from the original series whether they appear as reoccuring castmembers or cameo! The merge of old and new comes together seamlessly in this 10 episode series!
This series tackles what it means to find yourself when you’re going to college, finding your people,
finding/using your voice, and being impactful intentionally.
THE TRAITORS: NEW BLOOD
Peacock Original
Peacock
We always enjoy any edition of The Traitors and this season, the US version is back! This time, they have regular contestants (the US celebrity version will launch shortly) known as The Traitors New Blood and they are just as entertaining as season’s past! There have been a few twists that we have already seen so, we know that we will be in for quite a ride!
Whether the contestant is a Traitor or a Faithful, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Our favorite part of this show is seeing people put their theories to the test and seeing how long they stay once everything comes together. When you’re watching on Peacock, they release 2 episodes every Fri.
UNDERGROUND

When it comes to fictional podcasts, we always enjoy those that are produced by BBC Sounds as they are an audio delight regardless of the focus of the series.
BBC Radio 4’s Limelight is a great storytelling podcast and in their latest series, Underground has 5 episodes, they are focused on high networth individuals that have opted to live in opulent doomsday bunkers. As part of sustaining their lives while waiting out what is taking place, those that have children hire private tutors.
Thornfield is a luxury underground that ensures the survival of the wealthiest people. Although there are a number of amenities from culinary options, swimming pools, farms, and saunas - the inhabitants are in constant fear for their lives as well as the way that they live. They also follow a strict series of rules.
We meet Charity a tutor who has been accepted to teach children in her assigned home. She notices strange things that take place as well as begins to wonder about the tutor that she replaced - what is going on in this secure underground and how can she survive?
