THE BACHELORETTE S21. E9. | THE FINALE

We’re down to the end now and a decision will be made! We’ll see who Jenn Tran picks or doesn’t on tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette. Devin and Marcus are left to meet Jenn’s family.

While we watch how it all ends, Jesse Palmer is hosting the After the Rose Ceremony and we see Jesse and Jonathan in the audience who cryptically say that they are there for the rumors of whatever happened! Tell us more!

Devin is up first and the family takes some time to get to know him more. Devin speaks so highly of Jenn and you can tell that he has feelings for her. Devin asks Jenn’s brother if he can have the blessing and he says he appreciates that he asked, but he hasn’t talked to the second guy.

Marcus now meets her family and talks about his experience with Jenn and how he wants to see it all the way through with her. Marcus tells his mom and sister that he is trying to get there and his mom says, “oh, you’re not ready to get engaged?” Her brother tells her that she can’t make excuses for him and she needs to know where he stands. In addition, she asks him point blank and he keeps saying things that were said make him feel better, but he is still trying to get there and she feels confused.

Devin and Jenn do a fun ceremony with Hawaaians from the island. They talk about their concerns and worries with one another even though they are excited to be with one another. He hears that she has a fear of abandonment and he realizes that they are a couple and that he will need to be there for her as well. They throw large rocks into the ocean to signify issues that they have had that wore them down that are not being lifted off of them. They submerge themselves into the water so that they can emerge as a new person who are ready to move on. She enjoyed her date with Devin and she enjoyed the love and respect that she felt from him and that he knows what he wants. She also has a final date with Marcus and she doesn’t know where he’s at with her and even when she asks, she can’t get a response so that she can be settled with his answer.

Jesse and Marcus meet up to catch up with what is going on. Even Jesse is confused about how Marcus still doesn’t know and he tells him he needs to look from within to see if he really does love her and if so, he needs to tell her. While she is getting ready for her final date with Marcus, she decides that it is time to get her answers and she’s not going to wait and makes her way to him. She still doesn’t get the answers that she is looking for and he says that he is in love with her and is afraid to lose her, but the fact that it always feels like she has to pull answers out of him and he says that he is scared, that doesn’t necessarily make people excited to be in that situation either. She gets up to take a minute and she knows she has spent a lot of time and energy on someone who doesn’t feel the same way. She comes back and he continues to talk about his love for her and how he has been scared and honest with himself. He tells her he’s not giving her what she needs, She lets him know that she opened his heart to him every time and that she got lost in it and gave too much along the way. She doesn’t want to give and prove herself to be considered to be worth it. She doesn’t want to wait around and see if someone will get there. She lets him know that she is done and although she had hope, she is walking away. She lets him know that she appreciates his honesty so that she got the answers that she needed.

Marcus is on the couch in front of Jesse. He explains that it was tough to watch that back and he knows that it was tough for both of them. He talks about what being in Hawaii was like and how he reflected on where his feelings were and whether he was living up to her expectations. He said that he stumbled on some painful truths and he wanted her to know about them. He explains that when he got home, he wasn’t sure if they made the right choice, but once he was home, he realized that they made the right choice to not go forward. Although it seems that Jenn was the one that said she had to move on.

Although we don’t know what happened between her and Devin yet, she comes out to chat with Marcus. She tells him that the way Devin came to her, she realized that they were not aligned and that her heart was not in the place that she could be with him. She felt that it made sense to talk with him on what would have been their last date so that they could have that closure.

We’re back in Hawaii and we see Devin selecting rings with Neil Lane. She talks with Jesse and says that she will not let him propose to her, she will propose to him so that he knows he will fight for her every day.

We expected to watch the proposal which seemed it would be sweet; however, Jesse said that he couldn’t show the footage without have Jenn say what happened. They left Hawaii engaged; however, he began pulling away from her and not letting her hang with his family or doing any of the promises that he made to her. He broke it off with her and said he had felt this way for a long time and all of a sudden there was nothing.

They still show the video of the proposal which is super uncomfortable to watch. It’s something that definitely made us leave feeling pretty icky.

The Men Tell All takes place tonight and the night starts off with a conversation between Grant and his mom letting her know he will be the next The Bachelor. He will also be on the show later on tonight. Jesse Palmer introduces all the men that are part of the Tell All. But first he reminds us that we have unfinished business from last night’s episode of The Bachelorette and we’ll get our answers with Devin and Jenn Tran. So we head back to Hawaii so that he can talk with her about where everything is. He lets her know that they will have a tough conversation. He tells her that he is in a weird headspace because she didn’t reassure him and he didn’t feel chosen. She says that she doesn’t know how to be in a healthy relationship and to be able to be there for him in a way that he has been with him. She realizes that she is not giving what needs to be given and she realizes that if he wasn’t there, she would feel lost. She tells him that she does love him. She explains that she is not good with her words.

At the Rose Ceremony, Devin gets a rose as well as Marcus. Jonathan is sent home and he says that he thinks that she is perfect for him and that he realizes that she doesn’t feel that he was perfect for her. He realized that their relationship was a slow burn and that that was his fault.

Jonathan joins the rest of the men and we begin to scenes that took place throughout the season when the guys interacted with one another as they dated her. Of course, they start with Aaron to find out why he dropped the news that there were men in the house that weren’t there for her. He shares that Devin, Spencer, and Sam N weren’t there for the right reasons. As they go back and forth between each other, Jesse says it’s time to have Sam M in the hot seat so that they can really talk about what is going on.

We watch various moments of Sam M with Jenn and we see that there was a vibe of some sort between the two. We hear a number of the lines that he said to her and we hear how she feels about him. We also see where the turning point of their relationship started. Jesse shares that many people feel that he is not authentic and he asks him if he really loved Jenn. Sam claims that he would never say that he loved her if he didn’t.

Jonathan is now sitting with Jesse and they look at his relationship. We see the attraction from a physical standpoint, but we also see how connecting on other levels was not the easiest for them. Jonathan is looking forward to seeing her and hopes she finds the person that completes her.

Next up is Grant who will be the next The Bachelor. We see how his love story with her ended and we know that his family is excited for this journey that he is about to start. Since he was announced, there have been over 10,000 women that have applied to be on the show since he was announced. Each day, more women are applying to be on the show. We’re looking forward to seeing how his story is going to evolve. Jesse tells him to get used to showering on camera and that Bachelor Nation loves to see lots of suds when they watch people lathering up. Jonathan and Hakeem express how happy they are for him to be part of the show in this capacity. He will also join the rest of the men as Jenn is about to come out to chat with everyone.

Jenn talks with all of the men letting Sam M know that he needs to learn from his experience, chatting with other men that she had connections with at various points. In addition, she enjoys the bloopers. We find out that Hakeem will join Jonathan in Paradise. Charity and Dotun were also on hand to talk to us about what they have been up to as well.

We also get a peek at the final episode and we see that there is still more drama on the way between Devin as well as Marcus. We know that whatever happens - this will be unprecedented and new territory in terms of Bachelor Nation. We can’t wait to see how all of this comes together. We know that she says that she can’t let the guy who is willing to propose to her to go through it. We’ll be back on next Tues for the 3 hour conclusion!

Coming off of a great week of Hometowns, we can see that this week, the men are in the midst of emotional struggle in this week’s The Bachelorette. Devin is going through it this week in the teaser! We catch up with Jenn Tran as she invites us to Hawaii. She’s excited that she’s getting toward the end with the 3 remaining men - Jonathan, Devin, and Marcus. She catches up with Molly Mesnick (who was on S13 of The Bachelor) to figure out where she is when it comes to the remaining men.

Devin and Jesse Palmer play a round of golf with one another and you can hear the beginnings of his insecurities and we hear that Jenn is not completely there with him yet as well.

Devin’s date is first and they’re on a helicopter date where they get to see Hawaii. In addition, they talk on the beach to find out what they can expect in their lives when they are back in the real world and not on the show. Devin lets her know that he is ready to be engaged, but we can see that she is not there yet and we can understand why Devin feels that he is getting signs that she may not be in the same place. To tell her that he loves them and for him to not hear it back, could play with anyone’s head. They continue their date to the evening portion and she says in the confidential that she hopes that she can get there with him as she can see all of his efforts. They both decide to go to the Fantasy Suites and Devin is looking forward to chat off-camera as that will be their first time. They spend time with one another and she states that he is better than Pete Davidson in every way. They have their inside jokes, they seem comfortable with one another, and they enjoy breakfast together. She hopes that their time together has helped him get out of his head a little bit. She leaves him and does the solo walk back to her place with her bag from the night before as she goes across the Fairmont property in her robe and slippers.

Jenn arrives in a Jeep for her date with Jonathan. She has an adventure date for him to go to some markets and to try some foods. They go to some food trucks and you can see that he is shocked that he has a forced cheat day since they will eat filled donuts together. He enjoys spending time with her. They continue with a picnic in the forest that is near a massive waterfall. They take the time to talk and to continue to see how they connect with one another. He recognizes that he can’t keep beating around the bush with her and he needs to take the initiative. They continue onto the evening portion of the date and you can tell that she likes Jonathan more than she likes Devin as she feels stronger connections. She talks with him about how much she enjoyed being at his Hometowns and how connected she felt with them as well. She shares with him that it is important the she shares her culture and where she comes from and she wants to impart that on her kids when she has them. They opt to spend the night together.

They wake up they do look cute in bed with one another. In Jonathan’s confessional, he says that he can see himself getting down on one knee. But then we see Devin walking around and he’s back in his head again as per usual! As Devin spirals. we see Jesse and Marcus playing golf together and talking about what he’s looking forward to as he’s about to take his date. Marcus is still waffling.

But they begin their date and we’ll see more about how they are connected. In her confessional, she says that she is in love with Marcus and hopes that they will be able to pick up exactly where they left off. Their date involves a boat where they cruise out to the ocean as they continue to talk about Hometowns, how their lives fit together and continuing the chemistry that they have had throughout this process. They are going snorkeling at sunset where they can see the inhabitants of the ocean.

They have dinner together and he opens up to her to chat with her on where he is. He feels he wants to get his life right as he knows that he comes from a broken home. He lets her know he is worried and that he is unsure and she deserves someone who is sure. He doesn’t know if he can continue. He tells her that he is not in love and you can see her assessing everything that has just taken place especially because she had planned on telling him that she was in love with him! She does tell him that she is in love with him and that she feels the need to get it off her chest and not as a means to force him to say anything as she didn’t want to short change herself by not letting him know that. They go on the Fantasy Suites date, but to us, it’s a bit awkward as he has stated his position. They have a great night and she knows its a terrifying place to be in love with someone who is not with you. She knows that next week the remaining men will get to meet her family.

Back at the lobby bar area, Devin gets in his head again and ends up talking with Jesse and letting him know that he doesn’t feel like he is in a good place. He feels he didn’t get the reassurance that he needs and he doesn’t feel whole. Jesse is the perfect listening ear for him.

THE BACHELORETTE S21. E7. | WELCOME TO HOMETOWNS

It’s Hometowns on The Bachelorette and we’re starting off in Houston with Devin! Jenn Tran actually did what we think is the first run and jump of the season! He’s excited that he can show her his city as well as to plan their date. They’re participating in his run club that he enjoys every Wed. It’s nice that they have a Love Run where she gets to meet his friends and take in elements of the city as well. She also loves to run so that’s pretty cool that that works with her lifestyle as well.

She also meets his dog Charlie which she’s pretty cute. We didn’t initially have Devin and Jenn as a couple that would make it to Hometowns and although we do feel that there were times he provided drama, it does seem like he could be a great fit and that he is genuine about Jenn - but we’ll just have to see how all of this shakes out.

They make their way to meeting Devin’s family which is his mom, dad, grandfather, grandmother, brother, and his step dad (which Jenn reminds him of). They catch his family up on what they have been through over the past few weeks. His family seems really sweet. Hearing Devin and his dad Temo chat really showed the love between them. In the conversation between Jenn and his mom, it seems like such a loving vibe as well. His mother talks about how it took time to find her love story and that she knows it hasn’t been easy for him. Jenn let her know that she saw similarities between their families.

It seems like the date went well and with the backing of his mom, he tells her that he loves her. It was great that his mom let her know that now is not the time to be coy and to try to wait things out. Jenn tells him that she is also falling in love with him and that she does see a future with him.

We see Jenn in Fairfield, CT which is Jeremy’s Hometown - another energetic hug at a park he enjoys going to. They’re going shopping since they did that in Melbourne as well as in Seattle. They make their way to Stew Leonard’s. There are animatronics, items to sample, costume characters and more. As they enjoy eating hot lobster rolls that they shared, his aunt comes by unplanned. They had a great time with one another as they always do, but she wants to see him have a serious side and to make sure they they are on the same page. She looks forward to seeing more of his family so she can get those answers to see if he is ready for an engagement.

They make their way to his family and it’s interesting to see the dynamics. His mom Karen says in her confessional that what Jenn mentioned in terms of what she looks for in a guy is not her son! Sometimes it’s your own family and friends that share what they know to be true. When his younger sister Emily talks with Jenn she lets her know that his walls are not down and he is guarded. She talks with her brother and asks if he sees a future with her. Emily lets him know that Jenn feels that he is guarded and Jeremy is surprised that that is how she felt. He feels that he has tried to be vulnerable. When he talks with his mom, Karen asks if they have talked about serious things and she wants him to understand that fun is great, but he has to dig deeper to know who Jenn is. She continues to try to to understand the dynamic by sitting down with Jenn to find out more. She asks if they have a bond that goes beyond the fun part of their dynamic. Jenn asks if she thinks that he would be ready. Karen says that if it was the right person he could be ready, but it seems like she’s trying to let her know that she doesn’t think that he is ready.

Even though Jeremy and Jenn recap with one another, it’s quite clear to us that there is no way he goes past Hometowns.

Onto San Diego where she will meet up with Jonathan! Another physical date brings them to playing Lacrosse as they both played. So they have the opportunity to hang out with one another and to keep it easy. After playing on the field, they enjoy some champagne and they talk about the fact that he has some walls up and that they need to be brought down. He lets her know that he does see something there, but it’s hard for him to navigate his feelings, but he feels that there is something there. She is concerned that he is not able to fully get there with her in the time that she would like to see it in.

They continue on to his family and as we got a sneak peek at some of the conversation, we’re looking forward to how this part of the date unfolds. His Sister-in-Law shares how they met on Tinder, said I love you on the 3rd date, moved in together within 2 weeks and they have been married for 4 years and have been together for 7. Jonathan’s brother lets her know that because of his past, he is super protective of him. In speaking with his mother, Jenn is looking to get her feedback and she knows his brother is very hesitant about the process that they have gone through even though he met his wife on Tinder. Jenn explains that she understands that he is holding back, but she wants him to open up so that they can get there and have a stronger relationship ultimately. When Jonathan and his mom sit down to talk, she asks him why he is holding back.He lets her know that he wanted to get reassurance from his family and more importantly, his mom. He asks if she sees her being long terms. His mom said yes and you can see the weight lift off of his shoulders. She tells him that he has to put himself out there and to take that chance in order to go forward.

He lets her know that his family loved her and that he really needed today in order to connect more with her. He let her know that he is falling for her and that he feels it. She lets him know that she is falling for him as well.

It’s the last Hometowns date! We finally get to see Marcus and his family in Tacoma, Washington. Going into Hometowns, we felt that this date would be one that would go well. He lets her know that he will meet his sister, but not his adoptive family. In addition, he has some of his friends who he feels is family who will be there to meet her. He knows that he has struggled to be open to falling in love and having a future with Jenn and he feels stuck so he wants to find out what his support system thinks. Ultimately, he tells her that he is falling for her. She says the same.

All 4 Hometowns have concluded and now it’s about Jenn selecting those that should continue on the journey. The 4 contestants meet up for some beers to catch up on what they have gone through.It’s the last time they will be together before the rose ceremony. Marcus realizes that everyone seems comfortable with their Hometowns and that at any point, they would be ready to propose. Marcus realizes that he feels like he is behind. He realizes he shouldn’t feel the way he is feeling and yet he does - the epitome of conflicted.

All of the guys arrive and wait for the rose ceremony begin. Jenn arrives and connects with Jesse Palmer as they quickly debrief on what he past few days have been like.

She lets the men know how important Hometowns was and how it allowed her to reflect on what she needed. These were hard questions that were necessary for her to know so that she can pick the right men to continue. She sends Jeremy home which is not a surprise if you think about the feedback that Jenn received from his family.

Next week we have Fantasy Suites as well as the Men’s Tell All on back to back days and we hear more from the men on where their heads are at.

THE BACHELORETTE S21. E6. | FORGING AHEAD

This week, The Bachelorette is in Seattle - interesting that they are back in the States after being in Australia and New Zealand. We catch up with Jenn Tran and we realize that next week is Hometowns! She reminds us that this was the week that she was sent home before that key week. We see her with Charity who is down to give her some advice. With 7 men there, she knows that this number has to go down to 4! Charity gives her advice on what she should keep her eye out for and she also walks through each of the men.

Even the guys know that if they get that rose, their families will be able to meet her so the stakes are pretty high. The guys want the 1-on-1 to get that time. The date card arrives and it is attached to a large box. Marcus gets it. he gets a Letterman Jacket and heads out to meet Jenn.

This will be their 2nd 1-on-1 date and she lets us know that he has held back a little bit so she hopes that he will step it up. It’s a big deal to see where they will go. Clearly, they will enjoy touring around Seattle, but Jesse Palmer hops off a trolley and let’s them know that they will experience The Emerald City and they will have a bit of Wicked magic that is following along on their date. Kelsey and Daisy are also on the date and they were on Jenn’s season when they all competed for Joey’s heart. Nice that they brought them here. In addition to doing various activities, the bubble portion is interesting because he’s able to share elements of his life with her that he may not have done on his own. Jenn also has balloons that share more about who she is which is great for Marcus. After revealing items about themselves, they continue to walk and meet up with the original Bachelorette, Trista who gives her words of advice within the Wicked theme! It’s a great date idea for them. Of course, they have a bit of heights in the date with the hot air balloon.

Back at the hotel suite, the 6 men know that this is a big date and they hope that they will get the remaining 1-on-1 date. They all feel that they need it for whatever they want to be able to share with her. The date card arrives and Spencer, Jonathan, Sam, Devin, and Grant are all listed. It seems like Jeremy may have the 1-on-1 date.

Back on Marcus and Jenn’s date, they make their way to dinner at T-Mobile Park. They are sitting on the field at a table for 2. She tells him that she wants to be his safe space and that he can be vulnerable with her. He appreciates that she wants to be that way and that she sees that he is trying to do this with her. He wants to be honest with her about everything. He lets her know that he does not come from a perfect family by any means. He lets her know that they were born into a rough situation and that their parents could not take care of them. They were left behind in a daycare facility and no one came back for them. He lets her know that they grew up in foster care and that people seemed to want to be their parents and they would end up being sent back. So he has a hard time being open, sharing his feelings and having a sense of roots. She is saddened to hear this and she understands that both of them have battled feeling loved as well as growing up in non-traditional families. She gives him the rose and he is going onto Hometowns.

The group date has them on a radio show for iHeart Radio show, Love On Air Seattle. They learn that they will get to answer questions that are provided by the radio team. Devin knows that Sam will definitely get himself in trouble as he’s not someone that can speak without putting his foot in his mouth. He talks, but what is he saying and everyone can feel that he’s not saying anything that answers the questions. Jenn visibly reacts and lets us know that what he is saying is not authentic. The radio team hears from the men and thinks that Sam should spend time with her to chat because it seems like he needs more time to get his thoughts across. The other guys get to watch the interaction on the screen, but the team remains with them. Jenn feels that when she asks him pointed questions, she does not get the answers that makes her feel comfortable. He tells her that when he got out of the limo, he felt that he would get his wife; however, she is not his type and that he thought it was going to be Maria or Daisy! He then explains that he wants a ferocious love and that he wants to be a father and a husband. But he never talks about Jenn and what he likes about her and he has the radio team watching him. The guys watching via the screen all see that he is not speaking with her and talking about her!

At the group date after party, she lets the guys know that one of her conversations frustrated her as she didn’t get what she was looking for. She lets them know that she is looking to make connections. We love how Grant lets her know that he likes her, respects her, and cherishes her. He sees a relationship with her and wants her to know that he is falling in love with her. She continues to chat with the other men and she appreciates how they are being clear with her. Jonathan sees a future and Spencer says that he is there for the right reason as well. She feels seen and understood. Devin tells her that he enjoys the thought of her coming home to his family which is an awesome way to tell her his feelings. She tells Devin that she is falling in love with him as well. We weren’t sure about Devin, but we can see the two of them would make a cute couple.

Devin asks Sam does he think that the person she is talking about is him? Sam seems to think that it could be anyone, but not him. Jenn asks Sam to talk with her as she feels there is a disconnect because he can’t back up his feelings for her. She doesn’t understand what is going wrong between them. She tells him that they had great chemistry previously, but during the date, she doesn’t feel that there is a connection and she wants clarity. Sam seems very uncomfortable communicating and is clearing his throat throughout their conversation. She keeps asking him why he likes her and he can’t articulate it and then he says that it’s because he loves her. She has no idea where the “L” word is coming from as she doesn’t feel that it is real. He just says that ferocious and reckless love is what they have and she lets him know that they need more conversations so that they can be on the same page with one another. Although she knows she wants to continue with him, she is seeing some flags and they’re not green. There is no group date rose that is being given out and she wants to be able to think about everything. She’s not sure that she wants to meet his family.

Even Sam realizes that their interaction wasn’t great and he’s walking the streets of Seattle thinking that that may be the last time that they get the chance to talk. Even the other guys realize that what went down doesn’t bode well for him.

She makes her way to Pike Place Market which we have been at a few times, Seattle is a great down and what a cute date for her and Jeremy to explore this Farmer’s Market. They get to catch a fish that is thrown across the market, there’s the awesome bronze pig that is there, flowers and so much more. She wants to talk more to see what their connection is. He makes her a bouquet and lets her know that he wants her to meet his family. They even hang out at The Gum Wall. He knows that there are other relationships that are further along than his; however, he still wants her to know that he is there. They even debrief over lunch about how her date was the night before and he asks her how she feels.

They continue into the night portion of the date at Chihuly garden and glass for dinner. Once again, we have attended this space and it’s amazing anytime of day, but at night - it’s spectacular. She lets him know that she needs to ask the serious questions and how they can fit their families together. They connect on their families and being able to integrate Jewish and Buddhist foundations for their children. She gives him the rose.

She enters the men’s hotel suite and wants to figure out where Sam’s head is at because she doesn’t know why he likes her, what he is attracted to about her and more. To get clarity she asks him again as she feels that he is only saying things to make her happy. He then tells her that he can’t put his feelings into words for her. The double talking that he is doing confuses her and she takes a moment to figure out where she’s at.

The guys ask one another what they think is going on - but they know that the energy is off. She comes back to Sam and says that they had a great journey, but in this conversation, she realizes that he didn’t ask her at all what she thought. She lets him know that she doesn’t understand how he loves her, but he doesn’t see her and really know anything about her. She explains that she has closed the chapter of her life of telling people how to love her and to be with her and that she is done with that. Sam’s time is over and of course he was so awful on the way out calling her “dull.”

Devin receives a rose and the last man who will make his way into Hometowns joining him, Marcus, and Jeremy will be Jonathan. Although Grant didn’t get a rose, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, social was a buzz with the selection of Grant being the next Bachelor! He came so close to Hometowns and we can’t wait to see him helm the 29th season of this show! But before we can watch his season, we will see Joan take her place next month as The Golden Bachelorette.

THE BACHELORETTE S21. E5. | WHAT'S A GIRL TO DO?

This week, The Bachelorette reminds that drama never takes a rest! We remember from last week that Jenn Tran’s ex, Matt, has arrived and wants to be able to compete for her heart. The guys are excited to have blue skies for this cocktail party - not quite! Jesse Palmer connects with her to ask her how she is feeling with this addition and the fact that the men are not aware of what she is about to tell them when she joins them. She sits down and thanks them for a great week. She tells them that Matt came in from Auckland and wants to join in on the journey. She lets them know that not only is he there, but she will need to talk with him as well. The men are upset as they have so many questions - will he join the house, how strong are their connections, what does this mean? Devin announces that if Matt does join the group, he knows that his rose means something and he will leave. Grant tells him that he should trust the process.

After talking with Jenn, Matt walks into the room with the men and lets him know that he will not be staying because Jenn has moved on and sees her future with them. Once he leaves, Jenn tells the men the same thing and says that although she appreciated him saying that he loved her as she had never heard that, she was sending him on his way. The guys also didn’t get any time with her as she is heading straight to the ceremony.

Since there was a ceremony at the beginning of the show, she gave roses to Austin, Devin, Dylan, Grant, Jeremy, Jonathan, Marcus, Sam M., and Spencer. She sends John and Thomas home.

Jesse catches up again with Jenn acknowledging that the night before was a lot and he also asks what she feels she wants to see as she moves forward. The 9 guys are chatting with one another when a date card arrives and Jonathan receives a 1-on1. His date includes a helicopter ride and we know that he is uncomfortable with heights, but is willing to do it for his date. She had a helicopter date earlier this season, but this one is taking them to a vineyard. The play hide and seek, toss grapes in each other’s mouths and of course they sit in a hot tub.

They make their way to the dinner portion of the night and we know that they have cutesy vibes with one another, but we also know that she wants to know more so that she can be connected with him.

While Jonathan opens up with Jenn about past relationships and things that took place with his family, another date card arrives for the group, Devin, Sam, Marcus, Spencer, Jeremy, Dylan, and Austin. Grant is getting the 1-on-1 date.

Jenn encourages Jonathan to continue to be vulnerable and to open up and he gets the 1-on-1 date rose. They have a cute kiss in the rain as it if was on cue!

It seems like for the group date that the guys arrive to a farm and we know that it will get messy. When they arrive, Jenn lets them know she has a few friends who will be on the date - sheep and it’s quite a lot along with a shepheard dog. She introduces them to a couple who are the owners of the sheep farm and they are looking for the best farmer and the winner will get to have more time with The Bachelorette. The try to get sheep through a gate which was an epic fail, they shoveled poo, and cut dingleberries from the sheep. The farmers award Devin with best farmer’s award and Austin feels that he didn’t do anything and someone in the group of other guys deserved it as they didn’t shirk their work.

So, the group date after party begins and Spencer asks if Devin deserved having the best farmer of the date and he responds that it’s about taking initiative. Devin hopes that he will get a rose as he’s taking all the time he can to continue to connect with her. Jenn says she wants to continue the connections and why they are choosing one another. Austin airs his grievances during the confessional because he knows he has not had a 1-on-1 date with her.

Austin finally gets some time with Jenn and he lets her know that he is always going to be up front and honest with her. He tells her that he always feels like he is always playing catch up and that he feels that he can’t do that. He lets her know that he doesn’t think it is fair to her or himself to continue the journey. Jenn says she is surprised and doesn’t want to hear this, but she can accept where he is coming from. Austin decides to go home and she is now concerned that she may not be enough for others in this group. The producers ask if she has shared this with them and she says that if she does, she is concerned that they will see how worthless she is She’s not feeling good enough or worthy enough and she thinks that there is a possibility that she may end up being alone.

Dylan fills them in as he was Austin’s roommate and he knows that he hasn’t felt like he has connected in the same way. She lets the guys know that today was crazy and she is vulnerable with them by sharing that she doesn’t feel that she is not good enough. Sometimes she doesn’t feel amazing. It was sweet to hear the guys rally around her and let her know that she means a lot to them and it’s ok to feel the way she does and to know that they don’t see her that way. They tell her in a group setting and they also say it individually as well. She opts to not give out a rose because everyone stepped up to cheer her up and to be there for her.

Now we come to the last 1-on-1 date of the week which is with Grant. As Jenn arrives to the date, she is in a much better head space and is ready to explore her connection with him. Their date involves horseback riding and Grant is excited to spend this time with her. He even talks about how he is aware of the feelings that she went through yesterday and he wanted to check in. They navigate the trail and they talk about how she would love to own a farm as she loves animals and they arrive at the beach as they continue to ride. She knows that its important to have strong relationships and she knows the weight of this date. As it rains on the beach with their picnic, they are vulnerable with one another.

They continue their date into dinner. Grant realizes that she knows the surface stuff about him, but not other elements that make him unique and he knows he has to share that with her. He gets into his imperfections and talks about his family and how he had a hard upbringing and that his dad had an alcohol program and he felt that he was being lied to. Even as recently as him leaving for the show, he let him know that he was checking into rehab and now he has been able to connect with his father being 2 months sober and it’s a new him that he gets to learn. They connect on the fact that they didn’t have that father figure and what it meant to them. She gives him the 1-on-1 rose and appreciates how he was vulnerable as well as sharing sentiments that are similar in their backgrounds.

The men arrive for the cocktail party before the rose ceremony. With 2 men secure with their rose, the other 6 are feeling that the stakes are pretty high. Grant shares that he thinks he is falling in love with Jenn. The guys uncomfortably absorb his announcement. Time is always a tough character in this scenario and all of them feel nervous. She arrives and says that they look great and she is happy to see them. She appreciates how they have shown up for her and it meant a lot to her. Because she saw how they supported her, she doesn’t feel the need to have a cocktail party and will see them at the ceremony.

THE BACHELORETTE S21. E4. | ONWARD NEW ZEALAND

This week, The Bachelorette is now in Auckland, New Zealand so it will be interesting to see what the men are going to get into this week with Jenn Tran. The men take in the city and hang out a bit while they wait to see her and to continue their connections with her. Jesse Palmer also has some lunch with her to find out where she’s at at the moment. He also tells her that the reason that people don’t really eat on the dates because he scarfed food down during his season.

She leaves Jesse and she heads over to the men and goes on a date with Sam M. for a 1-on-1. The rest of the men settle into their suite and Devin gets in his head on why he didn’t get a 1-on-1.

On the 1-on-1 date, Jenn wonders if they can go deeper so that she can really get to know him. Their date takes place in a beautiful spot where they can see see 360 degree views. The waiter tells them that people are jumping off the side of the building. Sam M. answers for both of them that they should jump. She lets him know that she does not like that he spoke for both of them while not checking in. Although they didn’t jump, they are doing a Sky Walk where they are harnessed in. Of course they end up doing the jump it was just really awkward on how they ended up getting to that answer.

While we wait for the dinner portion of the back half of Sam’s date, the date card arrives. Spencer, Marcus, Grant, John M, Austin, Jonathan, Dylan, Thomas, Jeremy, and Sam N will all be on the group date. Devin will be on the 1-on-1 date. Sam is an interesting person to chat with as he has a number of tag lines and you don’t really hear him talk about himself or be vulnerable in any way. It’s not a surprise that he hasn’t really shared or given of himself in an authentic way. Although he shared hist story about being engaged, there never feels like any heart behind his words.

The group date takes them to the soccer field and they get to see a Haka and they have some professional rugby players teaching them about the sport and putting them through a few drills. Back at the suite, Devin and Sam M are sitting together and of course they continue to beef with one another.

Back on the field, the rugby match is getting serious between the blue team and the orange - blue wins. All the men on the group date arrive for their cocktail party after the group date. The guys feel that he is being too much as he is not the only one who won the match. In addition, Marcus tells him to check himself as he would let someone else sit on the couch with him. He brought in the trophy as well as the rugby shirt. This feels like it’s going to backfire on him. Apparently the shirt he brought says Sam’s Wife which matched what he wrote on his, Jenn’s Husband. He even took a moment with her by pulling her aside first and he believes he is getting the Group Date Rose. She plays a bit of lacrosse with Jonathan which she enjoyed as both of them played it in college.

The guys talk about how Sam N. is being disrespectful and that he’s not carrying himself like a man. He lets them know that he is here for Jenn and not for anyone else. They let him know that when they are in a group setting, he needs to check himself so that he fits in better. They all feel that he is childish and he doesn’t care about how they feel about what he did.

We’ve liked Marcus for awhile and seeing him chatting with Jenn and her letting him know that she can carry his burden was really sweet. Of course back with the rest of the guys, Thomas N. asks Sam N. to step out as if he didn’t learn from the last time that he was in that same situation with Devin. Thomas N. takes time to chat with Jenn and Sam N. comes in to interrupt them as he wants to get a kiss from her. He asks her for a kiss and says that he wants to take their relationship to the next level. She tells him that she recognizes his efforts and she knows he has never had a relationship and never been in love - she tells him that she doesn’t know if she can see them in the place that he wants to be in. She offers to walk him out.

She lets the men know that she sent him home. She gives the group date rose to Marcus. The guys are happy for him and are glad that Sam N. will no longer be part of the group.

Devin has his 1-on-1 date with Jenn and she’s excited to learn about the culture of this place as well as sharing about her culture and religion and to see how he will be receptive to that. They have a great time learning about the people and their customs. They also talk about the kinds of customs that come from their own lives that they want to bring forward for themselves as well as children. They learn that they both want children. At the dinner portion of their date, they talk about their family structure and they see a lot of similarities between how they grew up, what they don’t want to have in their lives, and how they continue to move forward to have what they want. Devin lets her know that he is falling for her and he wants to celebrate her every day for as long as he can.She loves this connection and want to continue and gives him a rose from their date night.

Before the cocktail party to find out who is moving on, Matthew, an old flame comes asking if he can join the process. They dated for a period of time; however, after 3 or 4 months, it didn’t work out although they reconnected as friends. The cliffhanger leaves us wondering if he will stay, how it will affect the men, and more.

THE BACHELORETTE S21. E3. | THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

We kick off tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette with some of the men doing their workouts, a warning about gyrating men and libidos, and the men trying to set their differences aside so that they can be focused on Jenn Tran.

The date card arrives and Spencer gets the 1-on-1 date. That means there will be 2 group dates that we’ll see. They end up flying in a helicopter and they get to know one another.

Back at the house, the guys are still whispering about Devin and his antics.

Back on the date, the helicopter portion is done and now they are heading to dinner in a stunning space where they can really talk with one another. We know that he wants to share something that makes him very vulnerable. He lets her know that he has been engaged and has purchased a home with her and then he realized that she was cheating on him. Although he shared this experience, it’s a lot to take in and you can see Jenn seeing if he is able to navigate and be ready for love with someone else. She gives him the 1-on-1 Date Night Rose.

Dylan, Marcus, Thomas A., John M., Grant, Jonathan, Sam N., Thomas N., Sam M., and Devin will be on the group date together. It’s a lot of personalities so we know that this will definitely be a doozy. Their date is at The Forum Theatre but it’s clear that hey will do the Thunder From Down Under which has shows in Las Vegas, but they’re helping out Jenn today. The men look so uncomfortable and can’t believe that this is what they will be doing. They learn how to do a number of moves and then they hear that they will have a live audience watching as well! Jesse Palmer is emceeing the night. The guys are having fun with it and Jenn is joined by 2 sisters who were on The Bachelorette Australia. Jonathan wins the event - Mr. Firefighter. Sam N. decides to drop the L bomb which catches everyone off guard! It seems like there’s a new person in the group that will rub others the wrong way.

Post the group date, the men from the date are at the cocktail party - who will win the Group Date Rose? The men are still thinking about Sam N.’s bold move. Of course, Devin is still out there doing all of his antics and the guys still feel that he’s a bit much. Sam N. also talks about what he said and she let him know that his truth is one that he should share and she is glad that she let him know. Devin hears Sam M. and Thomas N. talk about how he doesn’t even know what it is to be in love so why would he say anything? Apparently, Devin feels big brother vibes over Sam N. so this is not going to go well. The trio have a chat that doesn’t really resolve anything. After meeting with a number of them for a bit, she is giving the group rose to Devin.

We see that Aaron is in the Air Force and is being called in for an opportunity to participate in a flight training group. He has a day to figure it out and he will be flying out the following week - he has to think about what he will do, but for right now, he’s all about his group date. The next group date has Hakeem, Jeremy, Austin, and Aaron on a race track which will allow them to do a race. Austin came in first and got to have a bit of 1-on-1 time with her. With only 4 people on the date, she is spending some time with each of them at the group date cocktail party. Aaron lets her know that he has his pilot’s license. He has to decide what he will do and he feels that he is closer to her. She has great moments with each of them and now it’s a matter of who will get this group date rose. She gives the rose to Jeremy. Aaron thinks about the fact that since he didn’t get one, he doesn’t have the validation that he is looking for since he has to think about the call that he received earlier that day.

All the men arrive for the cocktail portion of this week’s Rose Ceremony. She acknowledges the men upon her arrival and lets them know that they are amazing and that this process is working. She lets them know that she is having a good night. Aaron plans on letting her know that he will be taking another opportunity as he doesn’t want to to stop his life for something that he has worked so hard on. He lets her know that he has dreamed of being a fighter pilot and he wants to take the time to do that. He also leaves her with a few words - some people are not there to be genuine and yet, he didn’t want to say who. That shifts the vibe for everyone else that is there.

THE BACHELORETTE S21. E2. | WELCOME TO MELBOURNE

S21 of The Bachelorette kicks off in a new way with their travels starting on the 2nd episode in Melbourne Australia! The Bachelorette, Jenn Tran, is taking a group date of men to Victoria’s Market with Jeremy, Sam N., Marvin, Jonathan J, Devin, Grant, Brian, and Aaron. They try Vegamite and they also have some whiskey with a bit of kangaroo testicles! Wow! They’re trying out a number of Australian must-haves.

Devin snags Jenn and makes the group date a bit of a 1-on-1 and of course the guys notice and they’re on their way to find her. He takes her over to get some gelato and she appreciates that he is taking the initiative to make his own moment. When the giys arrive she is welcoming to them.

They make their way as a group to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Clearly, something is about to happen. They have to write some zingers and perform it in front of everyone there. Devin has rubbed everyone the wrong way and it seems the guys are going to roast him even more. Even Jenn notices and we can only wonder who will get the Group Date Rose from this one. The date moves onto the night portion at a stunning home and she tells them that she is excited to know more about them.

Back at the hotel. the guys see that there is another card. Marcus gets the 1-on-1 date card. Back on the group date, Aaron asks Devin how serious he is and if he thinks that he is a fit and ready to be with Jenn. Aaron calls him a boy so we know the battle lines are set between the two.

Aaron has his time with Jenn as he says he is not about being part of any drama. Devin feels that Aaron questioning him and calling him the wrong name Dylan - he wants Jenn to know he is there for the right reason. He comes in with an ice cream cart and says it’s only for 2. Devin and Aaron end up doing multiple interruptions with one another. They then debate on the interruptions and she comes in to give the rose to Grant!

Jenn is on her first 1-on-1 date in this journey and she is starting it off with Marcus. They are going skydiving and although he is excited, she is a bit nervous. Jumping 15,000 feet when you’re afraid of heights and you’re with someone who did this frequently as an Army Ranger - of course, he’s not afraid. She ended up liking that he showed up for her.

The evening portion of the date starts with an intimate dinner in the library. They talk to get to know more about one another. He wants to let her know that he wasn’t always strong and confident he had to do a lot of work to be who he is now. He tells her about his job as an Army Ranger for 8 years in Afghanistan. He told her how he got seriously injured during his last raid when a bomb went off and he talked about how his team made sure to come back to get him in order for him to make it home. He talked about his recovery, multiple surgeries, and relearning how to walk. Because of those experiences, he is aware of the fragility of life and he is grateful in walking away with that experience as someone who is worth saving. You can see Jenn absorbing this information and she didn’t know that he went through all that he did! He receives the date night rose.

The next day, Jenn is in the outback with a koala as their date will be a photoshoot. The remaining 9 men will be with Jenn which will include: Spencer, Sam M, Thomas N., Hakeem, Dylan, Austin, John M., Tomas A., and Jahaan. The men will have to have a shoot with a number of animals that are not the koala! All the men are watching this date and every now Whoever wins the date, 1 man will have an intimate dinner with her. Poor Hakeem had to battle his fear with spiders and when Jenn had to be with the snake solo, Dylan stepped up! He received personal time with her and she let the rest of the guys know that she would see them at the cocktail party.

The men from the group date come to the hotel and are bummed on what happened on the group date. They fill the other men on what’s going on. Thomas N. asks if the guys who already got time from the other group date can fall back so that they can have time since they didn’t have a rose ceremony post the group date. Devin says he won’t fall back, but he can see why they would want that. Back to Jenn and Dylan, he received the rose from the group date.

Back at the hotel, Aaron asks Devin to talk again and calls him the wrong name. Aaron gives him, Principles For Self-Growth, a book to make him a better person. Devin sees that Aaron is a petty guy. Passive aggresive Aaron continues to work the room.

The rose ceremony begins and of course, Devin snags her first. All the men crane their necks and realize that he didn’t honor Thomas’ request. The men debate whether it was respectful or not. Thomas N pulls Devin away from Jenn and tells him that he didn’t follow through on what he promised. When Devin comes downstairs, the guys chat with him and he lets them know that Thomas N made it an issue and left her there sitting alone. Jenn asks Thomas N what happened and then she lets him know that that wasn’t the way to go about it. He gets less time as Sam M pops up and takes his moment. The two connect and Jenn feels that he centers him.

Downstairs, Devin is trying to talk it out with the men who are cool with him. He then looks for Thomas N to try and talk it out, but they are still unresolved. Jesse Palmer lets them know that the cocktail party has come to an end and asks them to collect themselves before going into the ceremony.

THE BACHELORETTE S21. E1. | THE JOURNEY BEGINS

S21 of The Bachelorette is finally here! We can’t wait to finally meet the men and to get to know the latest The Bachelorette, Jenn Tran.

It’s always good to get a bit of the backstory as well as a reminder of her season on The Bachelor! We meet her in Boston as we see her friends and family.

It’s great that they’re getting to business pretty quickly by meeting the men. A number of the men have sweet presentations, some are giving total frat boy vibes, but Thomas with the puppies was definitely so cute.

It’s always great to get a check in with Jessie Palmer to see how everything is going on. You can always see how he shows up for each of the contestants looking for love.

All of the men have done their limo exits and now she’s taking time to talk with them in depth in the house. She avoids getting a kiss directly on the lips as she wants to save that moment. She also plays a game of Truth and Dare with the men and she gets to know more about them through their truth and dare.

The guys wonder if anyone has gotten the first kiss and many recognize that they have not gotten one. You can tell it’s the goal of the men to get that first kiss. We’re all wondering who will get the First Impression Rose as Jessie brought it out earlier in the night and it is still up for grabs! This rose ends up going to Sam M. He also gets the first kiss as well. Jessie lets the men know that the Rose Ceremony is about to begin as the rest of the men make their way to the room.

THE BACHELOR S28. E11. | HOW DOES IT ALL END?

Apparently, 22 years ago today, the first The Bachelor aired which was a historic moment for this series. In addition, tonight, apparently whatever happens with Joey Graziadei, will also be a first and historic as well! So with those notes from Jesse Palmer, it sets the tone for the rest of the night! We’ll be watching the finale as well as checking in with the studio audience for After The Final Rose! Joey walks us through his relationship with Kelsey as well as Daisy. You can tell that he has a lot of love for both women who are very different from one another.
We see that Joey’s family has assembled to assist him with his decision! He lets them know about the 32 women who were on his season and he fills them in each on woman. His mother, sisters, brother-in-law, and uncle are eager to meet the women, but also hesitant about what could happen to Joey as he finalizes his decision.

The first meeting is with Daisy and she shares her story on how they met, and how she arrived to the mansion. She shares what it has meant to be with him and says that a lot of that has to do with how he was raised and the support that he has from them. His sisters pull Daisy to the side to get to know more about her. They have great vibes from her and then they sit down with Joey to get more intel from him so that they can see how they make sense with one another.

Daisy and Joey’s mom also have a chat and you can see how they would get along with one another as well. It seems like everyone sees her as a fit.

Next up is Kelsey! They spend a moment together before they connect with his family. She feels the weight of what the day means and how important it is. You can see the ease between her and his family which is a great way to see how they could fit together. His sisters take time with her and they find out that marriage for her may not be something she is 100% ready for. But she also says that she could see herself marrying him. They like her and see how amazing she is and she has great energy; however, they have a concern about what it means in terms of her rediness in getting married. They note that Daisy is all in and ready, but Kelsey seems to have a bit of hesitancy. So now he knows he needs to have this conversation with her so he has clarity. They chat and it seems like he found the answers that he needed.

He takes Daisy out on a date as this is the final one before decision day. They have a spiritual date where they cleanse the spirits. Daisy wants to tell him that she loves him and she hurts because she feels that he is not sure of her as he is juggling 2 women at the same time. Daisy gets into her head as she wonders if it will be her ultimately. At their nighttime portion of the date, she decides she needs to get out of that headspace and tell him how she feels so that she is being 100% vulnerable so that he has all the information that he needs to make his decision. They talk about the date and what happened as well as how it made her feel. They also talk about how she felt meeting his family. She tells him that she loves him and she’s glad that he is in the loop on everything that she is feeling. She feels that she didn’t get the validation that she was looking for. But after hearing her say that, his responses to her are very measured as Daisy let us know in her confessional. She feels that if she had to be 100% honest, it will not be her.

So Daisy felt unsettled, but he has moved onto his date with Kelsey. It’s their last date as well as the final one he will have on this show. Their date is a spa date and they can enjoy this time together and to relax. It’s a fun date and you can see how easy it would be with them.

Back at Daisy’s, she’s feeling all the feels and not in the best way as she is thinking about the date that they must be having.

Back at Kelsey’s, they’re enjoying their nighttime together and the debrief on the date as well as what she felt when she met his family. In addition, they talk about her marriage response and why she answered it the way that she did. She tells him that she just wants to be with him.

Well, it’s decision time! We’ve been inching our way to this moment and yet there are still some twists and turns ahead. Neil Lane arrives and they select a ring and he talks about how he feels in this moment. We see Kelsey dressed and making her way to the spot; however, we see Daisy and realize that she has a lot of misgivings. She feels that her last date was a bit off and that he was trying to prepare her for the day.

It seems like Kelsey is on a mission and she makes her way to Kelsey’s room! We thought that she was going to Joey’s! They trade notes on their dates, getting validation, and how they feel. We can see how uncertain Daisy feels about everything is. But, ultimately, she says that she will follow it through because what is Kelsey is not the one chosen?

Back in Tulum, Joey is at the spot where conversations and a proposal will take place. Kelsey and Daisy arrive in the same car together! Daisy meets Joey first in her power red dress. They both talk about what they have enjoyed about the journey - while at home, we’re all shocked at these twists that have been peppered in this final episode. Daisy lets him know that she knows he will not pick her as she knows that she is not his person! She opts to walk out on her own without being walked out - power move in a power dress!

We can’t wait to see what happens and then we get to know a bit more in After the Final Rose! Joey is sad about what happened, but at the same time, he wasn’t going to choose Daisy so now he’s focused on Kelsey. They also talk about what loved about their experience together as they have gotten to know one another more. He tells her that he is choosing her and that he is in love with her as well! He gets down on a knee and proposes to her and she accepts! He also gives her the final rose!

Now that we have seen everything, we’re now in the After Show! We see Joey and Jesse says that he could not have imagined how the day would end for him. Daisy comes out and talks with Joey and Jesse about when she realized that it wouldn’t be her in the end. She mentions that when Rachel was sent home, she remembers seeing a look between Kelsey and Joey that let her know that they had a connection. She even remembers that when they threw the rock into the fire, she knew he couldn’t picture a future with her past that date. She felt validating in watching eveything that her intuition was right.

Seeing Kelsey and Joey together is great! You can see their connection and energy and now they can officially share with everyone! In addition, it is revealed that Jenn will be the next The Bachelorette which we’re so excited about!

THE BACHELOR S28. E10. | THE JOURNEY CONTINUES + WOMEN TELL ALL

We have a bit of a cliffhanger from last week and it’s also the Women Tell All on tonight’s The Bachelor. Jesse Palmer lets us know that Susan and Kathy will host the Bachelor Nation The Golden Hour - we can’t wait for this to launch so we can hear from them as what a great duo! We get to see some of the viewing parties which is always fun.

We finally have the women on the stage so that we get to know more about what took place during the season. Thinking back that there were 32 women and how far we have come, it’s been a great season so far.

Of course, there are always dramas that need to be talked about as the tape is run back and the women are able to chime in. Lea doesn’t come off so great - she looks surprised that everyone reminds her of her involvement and she walks off the stage for a time. We get to the bottom of the source of the conversation between Medina, Sydney, and Maria. We then delve into the issue between Maria and Jess.

We then get to hear from Lexi in the hot seat who left early back in Montreal. You could see that she really liked Joey Graziadei and it was sad when she decided to leave. She acknowledges that he is a great guy and she felt seen and heard by him. People loved learning about her story and how she has dealt with Endometriosis.

Next in the hot seat is Jenn that we hoped she would make it all the way to Hometowns. It’s sad to see her see their relationship and how it ultimately played out. She shares that when you realize that it’s not happening, you sit back wondering what could have been done, what happened to the alignment etc? Of course, with her going all the way until almost making it to Hometowns.

As each person talks, we’re thinking of who will be the next The Bachelorette. Up next for the hot seat is Maria. We see how their relationship progressed and that she is sent home. They also talk about her family and her bond with her father. She also talks about the disconnect between her and Sydney because Jesse wanted to know what happened. As they talk about it more, Maria ends up saying that she doesn’t appreciate the bullying that took place online at Sydney and Lea and that she doesn’t like, support, or condone it! She even gives them a hug.

We go back to last week’s episode when Joey reads the note about needing to talk with Kelsey. He says he’s confused about why the note is there and how things could have gone wrong. Kelsey arrives at Joey’s suite and she tells him that she cares about him and wanted to tell him how much she misses him when he’s not there. Although this is great to hear, leaving a message that says, “We need to talk,” has put him in a bad head space. We know that we will see the rose ceremony and then we will see the person who was sent home tonight on the stage as well! It’s a great way to keep everyone tuned into this episode.

We’re back in Tulum as Kelsey, Daisy, and Rachel make their way to the rose ceremony. He gives a rose to Daisy and then another to Kelsey. He walks Rachel out and does not give her a rose. They chat for a bit and he lets her know it would be wrong to keep her there if he is not feeling the way he should be with her at this point. We know what he did tell the remaining women that he was falling in love with her.

Seeing Rachel looking beautiful on the couch with Jesse after watching how her relationship ended is heartbreaking. Hearing her talk about although it has been tough, she had tears of sadness and joy watching everything back. Joey finally makes his way out to see them and sits with Rachel. He lets her know that he cared about her and that when he realized he couldn’t go further, there was nothing else he could do.

They also talk about the awful hateful racist comments that Rachel received and how the other women received hateful comments too. Jesse lets everyone know that they love the conversations that they see, but there is no place for those hateful conversations!

Joey gives his first impressions from night one when they were in the house and he says that hey were all amazing. He talks with the women and says what he loves about them. He’s asked if he has single friends and in addition The Golden Bachelor contestants remind him that their single dads would be great as well. Joey asks about some of the women to see how they are doing - we find out that Kelsey T was able to connect with her father after not speaking with him for so many years. He also says that people forget that many moments take place that he never saw and so to be able to see them, it adds new awareness to everything. He says Rachel and Maria made him laugh the most during the season. We also enjoy a series of bloopers!

But we have a sneak peek of what the final episode will be and it seems like it’s definitely going to be an emotional one.

THE BACHELOR S28. E9. | OVERNIGHTS + HOMETOWNS

On tonight’s The Bachelor we’re continuing on with another key portion of the process, Fantasy Suites. We know that this episode is going to be a doozy and we’ll see how it all comes together now that we’re in Tulum. We have Daisy, Kelsey, and Rachel. We hear from each of the women about how they feel about the process and this important week with Joey Graziadei.

Susan sits down with Rachel and it’s a bit like sorority house mom vibes as she’s talking with her. How could you not want to hang out with Susan and feel good about yourself? To have the ability to get great wisdom from someone while also sharing the Bachelor Nation experience with them is great. Susan’s best piece of advice is that if she really wants to be with him, she needs to open up and to be vulnerable.

Their date will be in a lagoon and they will dive off of various levels that are around it. They jump off of different platforms until she falls in an odd way into the water. She ends up going to the hospital to get checked out, but ultimately, she ends up being ok! They talk later on and he wants to make sure that she is ok and she apologizes for what happened during the date - he lets her know that it was unforseen and it’s ok. She opens up more with him and she shows her vulnerabilities.

He gives her a card and lets her know that although their date was cut short, he wants to spend more time with her in the Fantasy Suites. They explore their villa and she looks forward to spending time with him off-camera. He wakes up the next morning with Rachel and we can definitely see them together as a couple. She told him that she loved him and she let him know that she loved how he took care of her. In Joey’s confessional, he says that he is falling in love with her.

There are still 2 more dates for him to navigate. Over the last few episodes, we’ve started liking Kelsey as we’ve gotten to know her. Leslie from The Golden Bachelor arrives to give her some advice. She hears her story and lets her know that she needs to be present when she is with Joey. She also lets her know that as much as she should enjoy her time with Joey, she needs to also realize that there is a possibility that she may not be chosen ultimately. Leslie tells her that she wishes that she didn’t feel so confident when she was going into the experience with Gerry as ultimately, she wasn’t chosen. She wouldn’t wish that feeling on her worst enemy.

Joey and Kelsey are finally on their date! They take a boat out to see the animals in the ocean and dive in. You can see how comfortable they are with one another. This could be a match - this season, The Bachelor definitely had a great crop of women as it got closer to the end. As they continue on to their dinner, they both talk about how much they have enjoyed spending time with one another. Kelsey tells Joey how she chatted with Leslie and the advice that she gave. He also talks about what it was like for him when he was with Charity and what happened to him on The Bachelorette. He tells her that he has felt that he has been falling in love with her for a long time and he knows how real it is. He knows how he feels and wants her to know. She accepts going to the Fantasy Suites.

We see them making breakfast together the next morning and they definitely look like they would be a great couple too. She tells him that she is in love with him. She’s going to hold onto everything that she has enjoyed as she waits to hear from Joey.

Daisy is looking forward to her date and is a bit anxious. Sandra tells her that she should stop thinking about the anxious vibes, she tells her to stay focused and she needs to talk with Joey. She needs to stop thinking about the other women who are still in this process.

We’re on the last date of the week. Daisy is nervous and knows she needs to be open and to express herself. She greets him and gives him an extended kiss. They take a ride with an ATV through Tulum.

We see Kelsey battling her thoughts about where she sits in the midst of the dates that have been going on. She even references her conversation with Leslie and how she needs to have a wall up.

Back on Daisy’s date, they enjoy some champagne in the jungle. They talk about Hometowns and she lets him know how much she loves him. They continue on with an outdoor shower so that they can clean up and get a bit closer.

They continue onto their dinner. Daisy lets them know that she had a great time with him. She lets him know that she gets frustrated with herself because she’s an emotional person. She lets him know that she overthinks things a bit. She tells him about her past relationship and how she would get shut down when she felt a certain way and expressed it. She loves that he is so emotionally available as she feels safe and seen. He lets her know that talking it out is an important part to being in a relationship so that the person you are with feels special. He lets her know that he is falling in love with her and they continue on to Fantasy Suites.

So 2 women have been told that he is falling in love with them and we know that someone writes a card saying that they need to see Joey.

It’s the next morning and we see Daisy and Joey together in bed. He says he loves being in that moment and they both say that they are falling in love with one another. She feels super calm and assured.

We see Kelsey continuing to feel confused about what is going on and whether it will be her. Joey feels that he has no concern that the women are there for him and he has no doubts. Kelsey goes by his room, but he is not there. So she writes him a note letting him know that they need to talk prior to the rose ceremony. She feels that she would rather leave now than have her heart broken. Hoey arrives later that day and finds the note that she left.He spirals a bit as usually a note saying “we need to talk,” tends to be something that doesn’t end up well.

The Tell All is next week. We’ll also get to know more about what happened with Kelsey.

THE BACHELOR S28. E8. | WELCOME TO HOMETOWNS

It’s Hometowns fortonight’s The Bachelor! We start off in Kelsey’s hometown in New Orleans. She shows Joey Graziadei things that she likes to do there. They ride bikes, take walks, and just enjoy being in one another’s company. He asks her to just be in this moment fully. After a great day date, they make their way to Kelsey’s home and he meets her brother, sister, and father. They catch up her family on their travels, dates, and more.

Kelsey’s dad Mark chats with Joey and lets him know that Kelsey means a lot to him and that he needs to feel about her, the way that he does. He then chats with Kelsey to see how she is doing. Kelsey’s sweetness and ability to understand what she wants in life is really great to see. You can see how great Joey and Kelsey could be together.

Joey moves onto Rancho Cucamonga for Rachel’s hometown. He has a connection with her because he spent a lot of time in Hawaii and she is from there. Rancho Cucamonga is what she considers her second home. She spends time with him to let him know what Joey can expect with her family as well as how to interact with them to respect them.

There is a fun luau at Rachel’s aunt’s house. She has a lot of her family there and Joey impresses everyone with the greeting that honors her mother, eating the pig ear, and just being sweet. We can’t help, but notice that her dad, Hakim continues to give long side-eyes and even when Joey talks with her mother, she lets him know that this isn’t traditional and she doesn’t like that there are still 3 women in the mix. We know how important family and their approval is to Rachel so it’s going to be interesting to see if she will continue forward. Hakim tells Joey he doesn’t want Rachel to be hurt and he’s not happy that there are 3 women still in the mix. Both parents feel that Rachel needs to protect herself.

When Joey talks with Rachel, it’s clear that even with her parent’s feelings, they are going to continue to navigate this journey.

Joey’s 3rd Hometown takes him to Becker, Minnesota to meet Daisy. He knows that if she can’t see him with her family, then it’s going to be a deal breaker, so the stakes are high. We finally get to see the Old Christmas Tree Farm that she talked about. They did activities and then her friends met up with them and Daisy let them know that she’s really happy with him.

Joey meets her family and they share how their relationship has been. You can see that she has a great support system. Even her mom realizes that Daisy is not being as vulnerable as she needs to be to progress further with Joey. Her dad echos the same sentiment. It’s in these conversations that she finally realizes that she needs to get into this to truly know whether her and Joey can actually work.

Well, we’re in Niagra Falls and it’s the final Hometown which means, it’s time for Maria. They have a fun boat ride to see the falls up close. They talk about how she almost left last week and that makes him unsettled as it’s not an issue to have doubts, but to be so quick to end things! As she tells him that that that was a mistake, he learns that she has never brought someone home. This is another concerning aspect, but he also knows how much family means to her.

Maria’s family has been the ones that we wanted to see. Maria’s dad says what he feels and lets Joey know he doesn’t want his daughter hurt. He also talks with Maria about needing to be vulnerable because Joey is a good guy. She didn’t tell him that she was falling for him - could that be something that sends her home?

All the Hometowns had great families and it was nice to see how they could envision being with one another.

The ladies arrive for the rose ceremony and we know that 3 roses will be given out tonight. Joey thanks them for the Hometown dates that took place over the week. He feels confident in his decision and is about to hand out the rose when Maria pulls his aside and tells him that is she falling in love with him and that she doesn’t want to regret not telling him as she should have done it at her Hometowns. When Rachel asked what that was about, she says that she didn’t know but would tell her one day. He gives roses to Daisy, Kelsey, and Rachel.

Jesse Palmer tells Maria that he’s sorry and she can take as much time as she needs to say her goodbyes. Maria doesn’t understand why she wasn’t chosen. Interestingly enough, next week, they’ll be in Tulum and Joey in the women will navigate Hometowns. We also see that The Golden Bachelor contestants will be on the episode as well.

THE BACHELOR S28. E7. | THE LOVE CONTINUES

On tonight’s The Bachelor we’re in Jasper, Canada and we hear Joey Graziadei talk about how his experiences have been as he’s on a motorcycle. The views are stunning and with 6 women left (Daisy, Jenn, Kelsey A., Kelsey T., Maria, and Rachel), we’re that much closer to Hometowns! The women explore Jasper.

Jesse Palmer and Joey get a bit of tennis in as they catch up on what’s been going on and how he is navigating in Hometowns!

As the women debrief, they note that they have all had a 1-on-1 and that not everyone will get a second one. Daisy gets the 1-on-1. Emotions are high with the women as they can appreciate that dates are happening, but it’s also a feeling that they want to have that time with him alone as well. We see Daisy and Joey horseback riding and as always they have great banter. But he wants to make sure that he finds out more so that he is making the right decision. They continue their date with a hot tub as they continue to talk through everything.

Back at the house, another date card arrives with Kelsey T., Maria, Rachel, and Jenn are on a group date at the great outdoors. That means that Kelsey A. will have the 1-on-1 date.

Back on Joey’s date, Daisy says that in full transparency, she likes him a lot, but she is not there yet. She can see how they are great together and she sees that they can be together. But at least she is being honest. It seems like even with everything that she said he still gave her the rose. He’s definitely taking a gamble on whether this will end in a match as there is a world where she doesn’t accept his proposal.

On the group date, they meet a Lumberjill and learn how to cut wood with an ax, use a saw, and so much more. They meet Anita Jezowski who is a noted Lumberjill which we have included in Athleisure Mag previously. The women rock their plaid outfits and do a number of wood events and skills. Maris is not loving it. Kelsey T. won the competition and everyone sees Jenn snag a kiss when he is in the midst of his confessional.

The group date continues back at the Fairmont Jasper Lodge with the 4 women that were on the group date. He knows there’s a tough decision with the group rose. He chats with Jenn and she feels better that she let him know how she is still in the running and that she shouldn’t shy away from continuing on. Each woman wants to talk to him about their relationship, Hometowns, and their family. Kelsey T. drops that her dad doesn’t know where she is right now!

Maria talks with him and says that she doesn’t want to bring someone to meet her family and that he’s kissing other women and that she doesn’t know if she can do this. He’s shocked as their date last week was so good - which I can understand why it would carry over to the date and going onto Hometowns. Ultimately, Maria decides to stay, but Joey didn’t give a rose as he can’t come to a decision. He hugs the women go by and we see Joey walking around Jasper ahead of his 1-on-1 date with Kelsey A.

They navigate the town together and then they learn about a Polar Plunge taking place at a local lake. Kelsey A. is game and super excited. They plunge and you can tell she’s loving it and stays in much longer than what we would have stayed in!

Back at the lodge, Maria feels bad that she had the conversation the way that she did with Joey because she wonders if she may be going home because of it. She wants him to know that she is there for him. Back at the dinner date, Kesley A. and Joey bond over their family dynamics and ultimately, she gets a rose - or is she says, that Hometown rose.

The women were looking forward to a cocktail party, but Jesse lets them know that Joey doesn’t need to talk to anyone, he is ready to go straight to the ceremony. Only 2 roses will be given out tonight. Before he hands a rose out, he takes a few moments with Maria to find out where she is out (while the other women stare as they don’t have the ability to have a final conversation). Rachel gets the rose. Maria gets the final rose. He sends home Jenn and Kelsey T.

On tonight’s The Bachelor we’ve made our way to Montreal with Joey Graziadei. He shares how he has been holding back a bit and he doesn’t like it as that’s not who he is. He also says that his personality isn’t really one that is energetic and he feels the pressure of presenting himself a certain way.

Jesse Palmer meets with the women to let them know how important the week is and that there are 3 dates for the week. It will kick off with a group date - Daisy, Katelyn, Kelsey A, Jenn, Rachel, Lexi, Lea, and Jess. That means that Kelsey T and Maria are getting the 2 1-on-1 dates. For the group date, they are given clues to go from one location to the next to find him. He lets them know that he is happy to see them, but that he is battling the varying emotions that he is feeling.

After walking around the city, the group date arrives at a restaurant where they make their own poutine with varying topics. A number of the women felt uncomfortable to watch the other women as they interacted with Joey. During the cocktail hour, the women talk amongst themselves to express how they feel unsure about what is going on and seeing what is happening between him and others. When Joey arrives and asks them how they are feeling, he can tell that they are sad and feeling a bit awkward. He reiterates that he also feels unsettled and that he knows that that is something that they are feeling too. By being transparent, he gives them that space to feel their feelings and to let him know. He gives a lot of time for each of the women so that they can share and connect with him. Jess has been a bit on edge the entire time and you can see it in every interaction she has with him or when she is talking with the other women. Daisy encourages her to talk with him.

Jess lets him know that she is falling for him and he lets her know that as good as that sounds, he can’t envision being with her and so he walks her out to send him home. He knows he made the right choice, but he feels awful that he crushed her. He comes back to the women of the group date and lets them know that he sent Jess home.

The group date rose is given to Jenn - not a surprise!

With the group date out of the way, the first 1-on-1 date is with Kelsey T! Their date involves them training to be part of Cirque du Soleil. Apparently, their training will allow them to test how they trust with one another as they do the various drills.

We also see Lexi and Maria chat as we can see that Lexi doesn’t like the timeline that was presented to her especially because of the health issues that she has which already has a certain level of concern for her. Maria empathizes with her and agrees that no one is right or wrong in what they’re saying/seeing, but what works for him, may not work for her.

For their dinner date, we know that the two will continue to talk in-depth about themselves as well as where they are at. Kelsey T lets him know that she had a lot of nerves going into the date. He acknowledges that he felt that and he apologizes that he didn’t handle the spins well. She explains that her family is tough and that she was close with her father growing up, and then he stopped talking with her for a while. Her father wanted her to focus on religion and he didn’t support her going to college. So since she didn’t follow the religion, she couldn’t stay with him. This let her view relationships differently and she has trust issues with people in general. She lets him know it is a work in progress and she shares how they have begun to try to come together again, and although she likes it, he still missed her growing up as an adult. She tells him that she wants to be loved and she wants a husband and that what she is feeling feels right to her. He gives her a rose.

The final 1-on-1 date is with Maria! A butler arrives to let her know that Joey is ready for her and they hop in a limo to tour around the town. You can definitely see the good vibes between them and this is why we have felt that she is in the running for Hometowns. Of course she arrives at Claudette and meets the designer of the namesake line. She is going to pick up a dress for her night out. They take a luxurious ride in a helicopter and enjoy champagne as they look at the city.

They continue to dinner and they share how they always have a great vibe with one another. Maria explains how important it is to her for the person that she is with to be transparent and to mean what they say. She lets him know that she is falling for him in ways that she didn’t expect. They dance with one another to Feist and she receives the rose as well.

We see Lexi head over to Joey’s room to talk with him about what she thought about the timeline that he laid out. But due to her infertility, she has a quicker timeline and she thinks it’s unfair for her to stay when she is on a different timeline then him. He agrees with her that their date in Malta was amazing and he knew that when she shared where she was at, he may have to consider having children earlier - which wasn’t in his plan. But he understands where she’s at and why she has to leave. He walks her out even though he can see her as his wife.

With Lexi leaving, Joey is shocked as he wanted to have more time with her. He’s concerned about other people leaving that he doesn’t want them to. With 3 women holding a rose, other women are unsettled as the pressure is building. He also lets them know that he is happy to have the women there and he knows how important it is to find his person. His ability to share his vulnerabilities should also encourage the women to check in with him to ensure that they are connecting as it is happening with other women.

Jenn brings him by the women to play piano with him and the other women shift uncomfortably to see their interaction with one another.

Joey lets them know that there will be multiple women who will be going home. At the rose ceremony, only 3 roses are being given out! Daisy, Kelsey A., and Rachel receive the final roses of the night.

The second episode from this week of The Bachelor we’re back with Joey Graziadei as last night, Joey continued his love story by selecting women that he wanted to know more.

With the drama that had taken place, we ended up getting the rose ceremony at the top of tonight’s episode and he picked who will continue the journey with him. After the rose ceremony takes place, he tells the remaining women that they are going to Marbellla, Spain.

As last night’s episode came to a close we realized that there is now an odd drama of Lea feeling a certain type of way with Maria. She even pulled Madina aside to let her know that she didn’t understand how she could be nice to Maria when she was friends with Sydney. Due to the uncomfortable situation, we hear Maria tell producers that she doesn’t want to stay, someone else can take her rose, and that she doesn’t want to be on this experience with this kind of energy. Ultimately, Madina tells her that Joey picked her for a reason and that she needs to see this through. She decides that she will stay and remain focused on her experience with Joey.

Joey joins them in Spain and has a sangria with them. He lets them know that Kelsey A will have a 1-on-1 with them as they ride off on the Vespa.

Some of the women are frustrated that they haven’t really spent time with him and it makes them wonder when they will get their chance. For some, it becomes very emotional.

On the 1-on-1 date, they enjoy wine and prosciutto. It’s a great way for them to get to know one another. They take a walk and even play an impromptu game of soccer. Things seem so easy between them as they head into their dinner. She wants to be able to talk about her family as she thinks that it is important for him to know. She talks about her mom and how much she had an impact on her although she passed away from breast cancer. He appreciates that she shares this part of her life with him and he gives her a rose.

Lexi, Daisy, Jenn, Autumn, Maria, Katelyn, Madina, Lea, Jess, and Kelsey T are on the next group date. This means that Rachel will be on the 1-on-1 date.

The group date kicks off with them creating a sentence to let Joey know what he means to them and then incorporating art as well. They share each of their works and what they mean with him. Jess wins this challenge. They head off in their swimwear to make a new piece of art together as a couple.

The group date after party takes place and of course Jess says that selfishly, she wants to have more time with him, even though she got time with him after winning the challenge. Joey tells them he enjoyed being with them in the day and he asks to steal Jenn.

Back at the hotel, Rachel’s date card officially arrives and she knows that she’s going to go dancing with him for their 1-on-1.

The rose for the group date after party goes to Maria. The looks on the women’s faces was very telling.

On the 1-on-1 date, we can see how they vibe with one another. She has always wanted to see a flamenco show and they end up learning how to do it. After changing into the outfits, they actually dance in front of a crowd. It’s nice to see how they continue to navigate their relationship as you can see that something is there.

At their dinner, Rachel talks about her work as an ICU nurse and why it’s important to her and how it does take time. She says she’s a slow burn and it takes a while for her to open up. Joey loves the passion for her job and how she enjoys what it is that she does and he appreciates that. She feels supported by him and she feels deserving of his time and attention. Joey gives her the date rose. He tells her that he is all in on her slow burn and he is ready for anytime he wants to share with him. Their date concludes with fireworks as they walk outside of the restaurant.

Jesse Palmer and Joey play tennis together. It’s always nice to see how he bonds with The Bachelor. Joey welcomes the women and tells them how he appreciates them being there. He continues to remind them about what his goal is and why they’re there. The cocktail party begins as the women work to get time with him. Somehow Jess doesn’t get time with him but has the time to have words with Maria since she took time with him when she already has a rose.

At the rose ceremony, he lets them know that he had a great week with the women and that as much as that is great, it lets him think about what he is looking for and works for him. He selects the women that are continuing with him and he lets them know that they are going to Montreal.

THE BACHELOR S28. E4. | TRAVELING FOR LOVE I

We’ll get 2 episodes this week of the The Bachelor as we continue along with Joey Graziadei. The Maria Syndey drama continues as you just can’t have both of them in the same house.

Jesse Palmer lets them know that Joey has moved on to their next destination which will be in Malta. So they will pack their bags to get to him in an hour.

Once the women settle into the hotel, there is a date card and we learn that Lexi will have a 1-on-1 date with Joey.

With their date underway, we can see how their chemistry will be with one another. They explore the streets with looking at jewelry, eating from the street carts, just strolling through the city, playing bocce, and then just dancing.

Back at the hotel, Maria and her new bestie Allison are chatting about what’s going on and then Jess and Sydney are doing the same thing. We see that this drama is not ending anytime soon.

Back on the date, they are in a church which brings up her emotions thinking about her grandfather who was a painter as well as the fact that she hasn’t revealed her health situation that could make having children difficult. She feels that she needs to disclose this tonight so that Joey is in the loop. They also talk with a priest whose there to get his insights on relationships and marriage.

The next date card arrives Jen, Daisy, Edwina, Catelyn, Allison, Rachel, Autumn, Kelsey T, Jess, Madina, Lea, and Kelsey A find out that they are on a date together.

They realize that Maria and Sydney’s names weren’t called so they all deduce that they will be on a 2-on-1 date.

Back on the 1-on-1 date, Joesy says he enjoys that Lexi seems like she is really letting him know more about her. She lets him know that she has something else to share in terms of her endo journey. She explains she didn’t know what her issues were, but after having a surgery, she realized that she has stage 5 Endometriosis and she was told that she may not be able to have her own children. Lexi says that this is devastating as she felt that it was her calling to be a mother. She had only told one other person, her ex and he decided that he didn’t want to go further into their relationship. Joey appreciated her sharing that information and understood how difficult it was for her to share it. He lets her know that this doesn’t scare him and there are other options that can be looked at in terms of creating a family.

He gives Lexi the date rose.

The group date begins and we get an interesting factoid that certain scenes from HBO’s Game of Thrones were filmed there. At Fort Manuel, they see two people fighting one another with a complementary outfit to boot. The ladies will be trained to be knights and they’re able to create their fighting outfits with accessories. They all spar with one another and then do a series of challenges such as engaging in eye contact with one another - some even get kisses from them. They then have to grab sashes off of each other. There is also a sausage grab that has to be done with their mouths only - no hands. The winner of the series of challenges was Autumn. She gets to have more time with Joey to chat with him away from the women at the Fort (although they can see her).

The cocktail party after the group date begins and the women realize that there are a number of people on the date and they need to get their time so that they can further their connections. He finds a way to connect with each of them whether it’s wearing glasses with Rachel because she was wearing them or asking Kelsey T what she needs to feel loved.

Back at the hotel, the next date card arrives and Lexi lets Sydney and Maria know that they are on the 2-on-1 date. We all know that in this scenario, only one person will remain.

Back at the after party of the group date, Jess gets her time with Joey so that she can let him know what she’s feeling. She tells him that she can see that she is falling for him and she can’t wait to see where it goes. They share a kiss. Joey gives the group date rose to Kelsey T. and he lets them know that he’s heading out.

The 2-on-1 date is something that we have looked forward to since last week when we saw it in the teaser. To see the drama culminate in this way, we can only hope that he selects someone today as it seems like we have an entire hour dedicated to this. Sydney feels that being on this date with Maria is like being with the devil which is a harsh thing to see. Joey wants to get clarity and figure out what is going on with them. As they head to their destination on a yacht, Joey is on a boat approaching them. When he sees them, he acknowledges that this date may seem a bit awkward, but he has a fun date planned for them at The Blue Grotto. They navigate through the natural structure and then they find themselves sitting together near the boats so that the air can be cleared. He asks Sydney to come with him so that he can understand what is going on. She continues to drum up more instances that didn’t happen. When he talks with Maria, she is so frustrated that she starts to shut down. Joey still doesn’t know the truth of what happened and he eants to have clarity even more.

Both women make their way to the dinner and Joey says, he’s not focused on the truth because he can see that that’s not going to go anywhere, so it will be about the connection. He asks if Sydney sees herself with him and why. He asks the same of Maria as well. He said based on the date earlier, that wasn’t a question he was able to ask and he’s glad that he was able to see where they felt on that topic. He walks Sydney out and Maria receives the rose!

We can only hope that all of the drama will now be greatly reduced! We see the women getting ready for the cocktail party. Upon arrival, Maria says that she’s not there to ruffle feathers and she’s just going to tuck in and she wants the other women to have time. Joey arrives and says that they all look so nice and he’s happy to be in Malta with them and he gives nice compliments to all of the women as a group. He lets them know that Sydney is not there because he didn’t feel the connection and that is the purpose of being there.

Jenn continues to connect with him by bringing him back to the water, Edwina lets her interest in him to be plainly known and other women take the time to reach out. Madina shares that she has had some trauma that her parents were involved in and it made her closed off. He lets her know that he doesn’t want her to share things that she’s not ready too, but that she should do it in her own time. They even do a trust fall exercise. Lea decides to continue the Sydney drama by pulling Madina out and telling her that the way that she is navigating everything isn’t sitting right with her. Madina lets her know that she doesn’t need to understand how she approaches things.

THE BACHELOR S28. E3. | FOR THE LOVE OF LOVE

We enjoy kicking off the week with, The Bachelor’s Joey Graziadei. This season, they always give us a bit of a teaser on something taking place and we know that Joey is addressing issues with the women.

We start off with hearing the women in the house talking about them being excited about how things are progressing. Jesse Palmer lets them know that there are 18 women in the house, 2 group dates, and a 1-on-1 date. He leaves them with a group date card where Edwina, Kelsey A, Lexi, Allison, Madina, Chrissa, Lea, Sydney, and Maria will be on a date together. This date is about Mrs. Right and he hopes to find her. He invited a group of women on the date from The Golden Bachelor. April, Susan, Kathy, and Nancy came along. This date will be a pageant and the first one that the show has had. They first sported their loungewear looks, then it was time for them to answer questions asked by The Golden Bachelor women. The third round allows them to show their talents. The winner of the Bachelor Nation Mrs. Right Pageant is Lexi.

At the after party for the group date, the women all muse over Lexi getting the rose for her non-talent being chosen.

At the after-party, Joey gets to know them better and wants to know more about them and to dig into what happened with Madina who feels that she was bullied. He addresses it with the women, but then gives the rose to Kelsey A. He tells them that they need to step up and tell him about this and then he leaves them to all talk with one another. Sydney, Maria, and Madina all talk about the interaction that took place a few nights back.

The next date card arrives with Jenn getting the 1-on-1 date leaving the remainder of the women on the 2nd group date.

Once again we see Madina and Maria talking and establishing that they’re good. But they also recognize that Sydney is stirring things up for no reason.

Jenn’s date with Joey is going surfing! They pick out boards, wetsuits, and it’s a cute and active date. They continue to dinner and she discloses her family dynamic which is a pretty rough situation with the unease between her parents and then also not having her father in her life. He gives her the rose - which is a no-brainer.

The second group date card arrives and Katelyn, Autumn, Rachel, Daisy, Evalin, Kelsey T, Starr, and Jess are on a date together. Since he is done playing tennis, it seems like this will be a tennis date.

We catch up with Joey on his turf, the tennis court which is passion as well as what he does as a career. James Blake and Pam Shriver are also on this date! The first Bachelor Open has a bit of a crowd, costumes of the athletes, and more. They play doubles with one another and ultimately team Lobster and Butter - Kelsey T and Evalin win. At the cocktail party after this group date, he gets to know more about the women through their anecdotes. Katelyn shares that her family is cursed because all the women are single in her family. He connects with each of them and then he gives the date night rose to Katelyn.

The girls debrief about the tennis date and how it went. It seems like all the women are having good vibes ahead of the cocktail party. Jesse arrives and lets them know that there will not be a cocktail party and that there will be a pool party. They end up having a KFC lunch. As people start enjoying the party and being with Joey, of course Sydney gets messy again and tells Joey that Maria is the problem and how she verbally accosted her. Joey pulls Maria aside to find out what’s going on as he is surprised to hear this, but wants to get the facts. Maria tells him that she is not a bully and that she has had that happen to her. She also tells him that there is no way that you can like both Maria and Sydney because they are two different people. Joey cuts the pool party short (has there ever been a pool party that wasn’t cut off early?).

They head straight into the rose ceremony. He thanks them for being there and acknowledges that this process i leading him to where he wanted to be. He gives roses to Lexi, Lea, Kelsey T, Rachel, Madina, Daisy, Jess, Edwina, Autumn, Allison, Maria, and Sydney.
