This month, we made our way to Industry City to see the brands participating in this year’s BCB Brooklyn, a tradeshow that showcases established as well as new to market spirit and hospitality brands that we should know about. It’s a great way for the community to come together from Mixologists, Bar Owners, Editors, Spirit Ambassadors and more. Brands had booths that were inside as well as those that were in the courtyard.
We kicked off the day heading to the courtyard to get a lay of the land. While there, we had our first beverage by trying out Kissy an Espresso Vodka Martini that was a great way to kick off this 2 day show. We specifically liked the thick crema that lasted for days.
After spending time there, we made our way to the courtyard to check out the Garnish Garden which allowed us to select various botanicals to enjoy on our cocktails.
We always enjoy spending time with our friends at Hendrick’s Gin. They always have a great booth that is meant to sit down and relax. In addition to having a 1:1 with their team for a series of tastings with signature cocktails for that day. We also enjoyed chatting with the bartenders of Hendricks who we met at previous BCB Brooklyn sessions!
This year Brugal had an immersive booth where we could enjoy their cocktail while also bringing the vibes of the Dominican Republic as people played dominoes.
Beluga Vodka was back again this year with their classic vodka spirit as well as sampling Oyster Gin. We also enjoyed a few caviar bumps with their team as well which is the perfect way to enjoy Beluga Vodka.
We have been a long time fan of Barr Hill Gin as we enjoy seeing them bring their bees to the show while enjoying their cocktails which include honey. In addition to talking with their team, we took some time to chat with the Founder as well as being able to try out their canned beverage for a preview of future launches!
In addition to hitting the tradeshow floors, there is also the adjacent events that take place. We ended the first day of BCB Brooklyn by heading over to The Hotel Chelsea for the Bon Vivants Bahamas Party which was sponsored by Ketel One Botanicals (Ketel One Vodka as well as Ketel One Botanical was also at the tradeshow). Bon Vivants is a bar in the Bahamas that is noted as #50 on North America 50 Best Bars for 2026! We even met Niko Cloud who is the mixologist for the bar who created a phenomenal cocktail that we enjoyed, the Gully Creeper Milk Punch.
We also attended Altamura Distilleries and Portofino Gin’s party, at Eataly Flatiron where the brand’s Mixologist, Federico Lombardii poured a trio of cocktails as we toasted the end of BCB Brooklyn at their Amalfi Rooftop Bar.
