Over the weekend, NYers were able to enjoy The Wimbledon Court in Central Park, New York which offered tennis fans a taste of The Championships, Wimbledon in the heart of Manhattan from June 26 – 29 June 2026!
On Friday 26 June, The Wimbledon Court Invitational had tennis stars Andre Agassi, Caroline Wozniacki, James Blake and Genie Bouchard take to the court in a friendly invitational to open the four day celebration. This event was a ticketed event; however all other events were free and based on capacity.
Throughout the weekend, there were an array of tennis-themed activities celebrating the Wimbledon experience - fans had the chance to play on the Wimbledon Court, as well as the chance to enjoy Wimbledon's traditional strawberries and cream, alongside various fan engagement activations, off the court.
Today, there will be the opportunity for New Yorkers to enjoy watching the opening of The Championships on giant screens. The ballot for The Wimbledon Court Invitational has now closed.
