STRENGTH, MOBILITY, CONFIDENCE: BODIFY DELIVERS

November 13, 2025

Looking for a ladies gym in Dubai? Choose Bodify, a women-only studio that keeps training clear and effective. Locations cover Dubai Marina, Internet City, and Downtown. Weekday classes run 10:00 to 22:00, weekend schedules vary by branch, so you can slot in a session around work, school runs, or late shifts. Keen to see what the buzz is about? Book a first-time trial for AED 55, reserve your spot today, yalla, get moving.

How booking works, no guesswork

Before jumping into your first Bodify class, here’s the smooth way to book and show up:

●       Use the website form or the Bodify app to request your slot, then watch for a confirmation;

●       Arrive 10 minutes early, check in, and tell the coach about any niggles so the plan fits your body;

●       Bring workout kit only, Bodify provides mats, props, and even Kangoo boots for rebound sessions;

●       Need to cancel? Do it with reasonable notice to keep your credit safe and make space for someone else.

After that first visit, the app becomes your best mate for schedule and credits. And yes, the studio team replies fast on WhatsApp or Instagram if you need help.

Classes in plain words

Bodify keeps the schedule broad, not messy. Aero Yoga uses soft hammocks to ease pressure on joints while building core control. Calorie Burn mixes quick cardio stations with kettlebells and bands, so your heart rate climbs and form stays tidy. High Heels Dance teaches posture, lines, and rhythm, and yes, confidence too, no side-eye in the room. Pilates tightens the middle, stabilizes hips, and makes daily movement feel lighter. Zumba brings the fun, easy footwork, and an inclusive vibe. Stretching for Healthy Back opens hips, hamstrings, and spine, exactly what office bodies crave. Kangoo Jumps uses rebound boots to hit cardio with less impact. Yoga balances strength with calm, so you leave clear-headed, not zonked. Every class at Bodify is coach-led and modifiable, which is the point.

Locations and hours that actually help

Bodify at Dubai Marina sits in Silverene Tower B, with free valet for members in the building, which is a lifesaver when Marina parking plays hard to get. Internet City lives on the ground floor of Business Central Towers next to the Red Line metro, easy in and out for commuters. Downtown settles into Yansoon 9, Al Manzil District, handy for Old Town and Dubai Mall workers. Weekdays run long from 10:00 to 22:00, and weekends vary by branch, so check before you roll up. Bodify keeps a consistent feel across all three, so you get the same calm, modern space and friendly front desk every time.

Prices at a glance

Bodify’s walk-in class is AED 200, but packages make more sense if you plan to train regularly. Below is a quick look at popular bundles you can buy in-studio. Numbers are there to save you mental math.

PackageValidityPrice (AED)Approx. cost per class
5 classes1 month850170
8 classes1 month1,190149
12 classes1 month1,560130
15 classes3 months3,000200

Bodify also runs a first-timer deal — AED 55 for your trial group class — so you can test the room, the coach, and the format you fancy. A gentle reminder, that trial is one-time per person; trying to book it again under a different account or similar tricks can void the deal, plain and simple.

The feel on the floor

Bodify isn’t a mirror-maze or a selfie trap. Lighting suits the class, music sits at the right level, and the rooms give you space to move. Clean changing areas, hot showers, Dyson dryers, lockers that actually work — small wins that make mid-week sessions easier. Say you take a 45-minute evening class after Sheikh Zayed Road traffic has cooked your patience: Bodify calms the edges and still leaves you with that post-session buzz. And because it is ladies-only with female trainers, the room stays relaxed yet focused.

Coaches and community

Bodify coaches bring different strengths — some dance, some Pilates, some HIIT — but all share a habit of clear instruction and useful adjustments. You hear your name, you get a cue, you fix the rep, and progress follows. Members talk, laugh, and spot each other after class, which keeps attendance regular. Personal training is available when you want a deeper push or a plan that solves specific issues. And when the schedule needs something lighter, Yoga or Stretching at Bodify resets the body without wiping you out.

Who gets the most from it

Office pros who sit too long, Marina residents who want valet and a quick in-and-out, Downtown dwellers who like a late session, mums carving out a clean hour for themselves — Bodify fits these lives. New to the gym floor? Bodify has you covered with options in every class, so you do not feel lost. Already strong and chasing sharper lines or stamina? Bodify scales the load and pace so you keep improving without bruising your joints. The studio’s vibe rewards consistency, which is how strength, mobility, and confidence grow.

Quick facts to seal the deal

Bodify is ladies-only, adult members only, with three branches you can actually reach. Classes are coach-led, gear is provided, and the late closing time makes after-work training real. The trial is AED 55 for a single visit, a tidy way to test a few vibes before picking favorites. Find your slot, show up, and let the routine do its work — small honest sessions beat once-a-month hero workouts every time.

TRAINING WITH CONFIDENCE: WHAT IS THE BEST TREATMENT FOR SCALP PSORIASIS?

November 13, 2025

Staying confident during workouts or daily routines isn’t always easy when your scalp constantly itches, flakes, or feels sore. For many, these symptoms stem from scalp psoriasis, a persistent skin condition that can be both uncomfortable and emotionally draining.

Psoriasis is a common, chronic inflammatory disease driven by the immune system, affecting about 2% to 3% of people worldwide. While it can appear anywhere on the body, having it on the scalp makes it particularly challenging to manage due to hair and product buildup. (1)

Still, with the right approach, you can train, live, and move confidently while keeping your symptoms under control. Here’s how to understand the condition and what you can do to treat it effectively.

What Is Scalp Psoriasis?

Scalp psoriasis is a chronic skin condition marked by raised, red patches covered with silvery-white scales that can form across the scalp, along the hairline, or even behind the ears and down the neck.

These plaques develop when the immune system becomes overly active, prompting skin cells to grow and build up more quickly than they should. As a result, layers of thick, scaly buildup develop, leading to irritation and visible flaking.

Interestingly, studies show that scalp psoriasis affects roughly 45% to 56% of people with psoriasis, making it one of the most common areas impacted by the condition. Despite that, it often goes underdiagnosed or mistaken for stubborn dandruff, which can delay proper treatment. (2)

Because hair and hair styling products can interfere with treatment, scalp psoriasis poses unique challenges compared to plaque psoriasis elsewhere. You may experience itching, burning, temporary hair loss (from scratching or pulling scales), and flaking that resembles dandruff, but the scales are usually thicker and more adherent.

While there’s no cure, you can work with dermatology professionals to help you find the best treatment for scalp psoriasis that may significantly improve your symptoms, reduce flare-ups, and maintain healthier scalp skin.

Symptoms and Triggers of Scalp Psoriasis

Before addressing effective approaches, it’s important to recognize common signs and what might spark flare-ups:

Symptoms to watch for:

●       Raised red or purple plaques with thick silver or white scales on the scalp. Flakes or shedding, sometimes heavy, especially near the hairline.

●       Itchiness or burning sensation under the plaques.

●       Hair may appear thinner or patchy in areas where plaques are persistent; hair loss is usually temporary and improves once inflammation is controlled.

●       In some cases, lesions extend beyond the scalp to the forehead, neck, or behind the ears.

Common triggers to consider:

●       Stress and emotional strain can increase flare-ups by influencing the immune response.

●       Scalp injuries or skin trauma (even scratching or harsh hair treatments) can provoke new lesions.

●       Certain medications, infections, or stopping treatment abruptly may worsen the condition.

●       Heavy alcohol use, smoking, or poor sleep can indirectly fuel immune-mediated conditions.

●       Cold, dry weather, or shampoos/hair products that irritate the scalp.

Identifying your triggers and working to minimize them helps you gain better control over the symptoms and flare-ups. Combined with proper medical treatment, this provides the best opportunity for you to remain confident and comfortable in your daily life.

Best Treatment Options for Scalp Psoriasis

When considering how best to treat scalp psoriasis, an effective approach is to create a treatment plan tailored to the severity and extent of your scalp involvement, as well as any body psoriasis you may have. Topical treatments are generally applied first, followed by advanced therapies if needed.

First-Line Therapies

For mild to moderate involvement on the scalp, the basic building blocks of care often include:

●       Topical corticosteroids: These are the number one and most commonly prescribed treatment for scalp psoriasis. They reduce inflammation, redness, itching, and scaling. (3)

●       Keratolytics (such as salicylic acid): These help soften and remove thick scales, allowing other topical treatments to penetrate more effectively.

●       Coal tar preparations: Historically established and still used, coal tar (or tar shampoo) slows the turnover of skin cells and calms inflammation.

●       Vitamin D analogs: These help regulate skin cell production and can be used, especially in combination with steroids.

●       Medicated shampoos: Because hair complicates access to the scalp, shampoos formulated for scalp psoriasis make it practical to treat the affected area.

To find the best relief, consult your dermatologist about a treatment plan tailored to your specific scalp needs. The right approach usually involves targeted formulas, such as sprays, foams, or medicated shampoos, that reach the skin beneath your hair instead of relying on creams intended for the body.

Phototherapy and Advanced Measures

If topical treatments aren’t enough, or plaque involvement is more substantial, other options can enhance efficacy:

●       UV light therapy (Phototherapy): This includes narrow-band UVB, broad-band UVB, or specialized comb/handheld devices targeting the scalp.

●       Laser treatment (e.g., Excimer Lasers): These target focused plaques and may be used when other therapies haven’t cleared the area.

●       Systemic or biologic treatments: If you have moderate to severe psoriasis affecting large areas or other parts of your body beyond the scalp, medications that target the immune system may be appropriate.

Your choice of treatment depends not only on how much of the scalp is involved, but also on how much your daily life is affected. Discomfort, hair loss worries, or visible lesions may mean stepping up therapy sooner rather than later.

Final Thoughts

Scalp psoriasis can be frustrating, but it’s a condition that can be managed successfully with the right care and consistency. Once you understand your triggers and stick to dermatologist-guided treatments, you’ll likely see real improvements not just in how your scalp feels, but in your overall confidence, too.

Stay consistent, give your scalp time to respond, and you’ll be able to train, work, and move through your day feeling more at ease in your own skin.

THE GOLDEN BACHELOR S2. E9. | AND NOW THE FINALE

November 12, 2025

PHOTO CREDIT | Disney/Maarten de Boer

This week on The Golden Bachelor, we’ve made it to the finale and it is down to Cindy and Peg! We can tell that both women feel that he is hard to read and they don’t know where they stand. Mel has always said that he doesn’t want to say things to multiple women. We start tonight getting a recap of both of Mel’s dates, We also check in with Jesse Palmer in studio to see what we need to know about what has taken place in Mel’s journey.

Jesse introduces an array of Bachelor Nation couples that are in the audience as well as those that are single from The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette cast as well. He also lets us know that he has a chat with the upcoming season of The Bachelorette, Taylor Frankie Paul (The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives - S3 is streaming now) to see what she has been up to.

Back on Cindy’s date, she tries to get answers and realizes that she is not his person. She wants her person to be sure and not to say that maybe in 2 years he could marry her. She asks him to walk her out and now we know that he only has Peg. You can see her emotions as she knows she is a great match for him, but his lack of commenting was really the last straw for her.

As Mel is still sitting at their dinner table and the fireworks go off overhead, he is shocked that she left - although he calls it quitting. As he contemplates what has transpired, Jesse arrives to talk with him. Jesse reminds him that the women come with the hopes of being engaged - Mel doesn’t agree and likes to make decisions in his own timeline as opposed to the parameters that the show is based on. Jesse reminds him that Cindy is trying to protect her heart. It seems like Cindy hasn’t officially left but he definitely has thoughts and more confusion - Jesse says that she is still here and available to talk with.

Ultimately, when we come back from the commercial break, we see Cindy walk on the stage to talk to Jesse. She says that she just watched the clip that we saw and she was able to see how it all went down and what she thought happened - did happen. Jesse asks her if Mel went to go find here. He didn’t and she also adds that she didn’t want him to come find her. She believes that everyone should have the kind of love and partner that works for them - she realized that what he was giving her wasn’t enough. The lack of specifics of how she could fit into his life wasn’t there and she just heard compliments but now the why and explanations behind it. She was in it until he wasn’t willing to dig deeper. His lack of commitment was their undoing and she had no regrets leaving.

Mel is on the stage with Cindy to talk about their relationship. She lets him know that she didn’t feel that he was ready for a commitment and wanted to know when he realized that. He feels that because she left early from their date and didn’t do the Fantasy Suites, then he feels that she left the game early. She tells him that he said more to Jesse then he did with her. He feels that they needed to talk without the cameras being there so that they could really talk. She hears him out and says that she gets where he is coming from and that they are not aligned. She tells him that she felt that she learned enough and didn’t need to talk further and that she realized he wasn’t going to take a leap of faith. Jesse interjects as he sees that they will continue to go in circles.

Coming back from the commercial break, only Peg is left and we see her getting ready to meet Mel’s sons. She doesn’t know that Cindy has left and they didn’t even make it to Fantasy Suites! Mel comes to her room and she knows something has happened. He shares his feelings with her about how he likes her and he explains that he had his date with Cindy and he wants to be transparent about what took place. He lets her know that she left before the overnight. You can see Peg’s mind racing as she realizes that Cindy was asking questions that he wouldn’t answer and she sees that she is in the same boat with him. He lets her know that he wants to get to the end with her and in his confessional, he says that he feels that she is one of a kind. He’s worried that because of the situation, that she may feel like a leftover.

We see Mel with his 2 sons and friend Diane from college. He lets them know that Cindy left and that Peg is the only one that is left. His friend shares that as much as she thinks that what happened is unfortunate, she can appreciate that she didn’t feel it was right for her and that she removed herself. This is the first time that his sons have met someone since his divorce. It seems like everyone is getting along and that she fits in.

Peg enjoyed meeting his college friend and his sons. She got to see more about him and feels that their connection is real. She hopes that this will help him commit. He knows he needs to make a decision and that he needs to get out of his head and to use his heart and gut.

It’s the day after Peg meeting Mel’s friend and sons. She still has questions but a decision needs to be made after they have navigated this journey. She knows that she can fall in love again, she feels their bond, and she knows that they could be great together. She has let her walls down and has been vulnerable. She hopes that he is the one that she has been waiting for.

Of course, we know that Mel is getting a bit nervous as the time to decide is now. He lets us know that he has let his walls down to listen to his heart - because of Peg. He gives Peg a commitment ring as well as a Golden Rose.

As the After the Rose portion of the episode takes place, we finally see Peg and Mel together. They talk about the fact that they can now be public, they talk about how they get to decide how to navigate their relationship, and they get feedback and well wishes from previous Goldens!

We also get to hear from the upcoming The Bachelorette which is an interesting sneak peek,

Each night during this season, we will tweet about The Golden Bachelor and you can chat along with us (@AthleisureMag + with our Co-Founder/Creative + Style Director, Kimmie Smith @ShesKimmie) to see what’s taking place!

Each week, we will let you know who our faves were from the last episode and if we’ve changed up since then as it pertains to who we think should go to Hometowns.

We also suggest a podcast that we’ve become obsessed with over the past few seasons, Wondery’s Bachelor Happy Hour to get their feedback!

ATHLEISURE LIST | MINICIRCLE

November 12, 2025

Minicircle launched in 2019 with the goal of creating safe, accessible gene therapy treatments that could support human healthspan and mitigate suffering from preventable health conditions on a population level. Driven by my own personal experiences observing close friends and family with life-altering, incurable diseases, Minicircle’s primary goal is to improve quality of life for as many people as possible. The ultimate objective is to scale the treatments widely and make them increasingly easy to access in the years to come. We sat down with Mac Davis, CEO and Founder of Minicircle to find out more about them.

Minicircle has created a gene therapy platform that administers the treatment via non-invasive injection. This delivery method employs DNA plasmids, which are small, circular strands of DNA that are easy to inject subcutaneously and cheap to manufacture. These plasmids don’t directly integrate with or alter the recipient’s DNA, but rather add to existing DNA, making them transient, which is a strong differentiator compared to other gene therapy platforms.

Their current gene therapy offering revolves around a protein called follistatin, which has a number of different use cases. Follistatin is naturally occurring in the body and facilitates muscle growth by binding to myostatin, which inhibits muscle growth. Everyone who comes to Minicircle has a different goal in mind, from putting on muscle mass, to enhancing general longevity and healthspan, to mitigating frailty - but it generally boils down to improving quality of life and putting your body in the best position to combat age-related health conditions. Most Minicircle patients report an increase in lean mass, decrease in body fat percentage, lower epigenetic age, and overall improvement in general functioning and well-being. In particular, they’re excited about follistatin’s potential to support those with muscle-wasting conditions like muscular dystrophy, which could have a powerful impact on public health interventions for generations to come.

Thos interested in learning about Minicircle’s therapies and pricing can go to the website and fill out a form with their contact information. They will then be put in touch with one of their partner clinics, who will guide them through the process of getting necessary testing before traveling to the clinic to receive the therapy. The process itself is very quick. The injection takes just a few minutes, with a required 30 minute monitoring period after.

The life cycle of the therapy can vary depending on the individual’s biology and lifestyle habits, but the effects usually last up to a year - sometimes more, sometimes less. Most people who have received the therapy want to get it repeatedly to sustain the effects.

MINICIRCLE

Clinics are located in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Paradise Island, Bahamas; Roatan, Honduras; and Panama City, Panama.

ATHLEISURE LIST | KEBABISHQ

November 11, 2025

Kebabishq is the latest venture from Vamshi Adi (Executive Chef & Co-Owner) and Neel Mittal (Co-Owner) opened in August 2025 — they’re behind the Bib Gourmand–recognized restaurant Ishq in NYC.

Their vision involved bringinng a modern, fast-casual kebab concept rooted in deep South Asian (especially Hyderabadi) tradition to New York, with bold spices, live charcoal grilling, and accessible formats (rolls, bowls, loaded fries). The menu emphasizes 100% halal meats, vegetarian options, and house-made paneer.

Their Kebabs are marinated in proprietary spice blends and cooked over a live charbroiler to impart smoky, charred flavor.

Typical spices and aromatics you’ll find include: garam masala, cumin, coriander; ginger, garlic aioli; red chili/chili powder, green chili; turmeric, black pepper, mustard; yogurt or from Ishq, focusing on kebabs, grilled meats, and approachable formats.

The technique of marination + charcoal/open flame is central: the meats absorb the flavor deeply, then get “sealed” by the grill’s heat. Because it sits in the Indian kebab tradition, there is also likely influence from Mughlai, Hyderabadi, North Indian kebab substyles (seekh, tikka, etc.).

The menu is broken out with Kebabs/Grill which has core proteins (chicken, lamb, shrimp, paneer, and soya) in kebab form (skewers, cuts). There are Rolls/Wraps where kebabs or grilled meats wrapped in paratha/flatbreads with chutneys, sauces, salad. There is also a section focused on Bowls/Rice/Salad. There are Kebabs placed over pulao or rice, salad (greens), sometimes “loaded” versions (e.g. fries + toppings). They also have Sides & Small Plates which includes: Chutneys, breads (naan, paratha), crispy/fried items, salads, raita, etc. To complete the meal, there are Desserts & Refreshments. You can enjoy South Asian desserts (kulfi, falooda, etc.), lassi, chai, soft drinks, and other beverages. Finally, there are Custom/Add-ons which includes extra sauces, toppings, spice levels, extra protein, etc.

We suggest their Chicken Kebab Roll (or Paratha Roll with Chicken Kebab). It’s a marinated chicken, grilled, wrapped in soft paratha with chutneys and salad offers contrast in texture, spice, and freshness; Lamb Seekh Kebab Bowl/Over Pulao/Loaded Fries; and Paneer/Soya Kebab Option - a great vegetarian offer. If you prefer more exotic suggestion, we suggest their Shrimp Kebab.

For a side, we enjoyed their Bhel Puri – A classic Indian street food snack made with puffed rice, sev (crispy chickpea noodles), onions, tomatoes, herbs, and tangy tamarind chutney. Their Dahi Puri is a beloved chaat dish consisting of hollow, crispy puris filled with potatoes, chickpeas, chutneys, yogurt, and spices.

THE BRACELET EVERYONE IS LAYERING RIGHT NOW

November 11, 2025

If you've been browsing social media, you’ve seen one accessory popping up over and over on stylish wrists. The tennis bracelet is everywhere right now. But it’s not just about wearing one, it’s about layering them to make a look that’s classy and cool at the same time.

Why are tennis bracelets perfect to stack? Unlike bold, chunky jewelry that stands out on its own, these bracelets bring just the right mix of style and flexibility. The sleek row of stones creates a simple base that matches with other pieces. You can stack several tennis bracelets together or mix them with different types of bracelets to get a more unique and fun vibe.

The charm of layering tennis bracelets comes from how easily they work for both day and evening, as well as casual and fancy occasions. You could wear a simple piece in the morning and keep adding more as your day calls for a bit of extra sparkle. Think of it like having a collection of jewelry that matches your routine and gives you countless ways to show your style.

Why Tennis Bracelets Work So Well for Layering

Tennis bracelets are seen as the perfect accessory to layer, thanks to their simple yet adaptable design. These classic bracelets usually showcase a row of lab-grown diamonds set in fine metal. The smooth and unbroken sparkle reflects light from every direction. Their sleek design helps them rest on the wrist and lets them stack without feeling bulky or awkward.

The uniform size and shape of most tennis bracelets make them a natural fit to pair with one another. Stacking several together creates a balanced and stylish look that blends instead of clashing for attention. The result is an elegant shine that feels put together, never messy or overdone.

How to Stack Tennis Bracelets

To layer tennis bracelets in a way that looks great, you need to think about balance and size. Start with the bracelet you like the most. Maybe it’s a simple single-row design or one with bigger stones that stands out. Use this piece to set the tone for the rest of the stack. After that, add bracelets that go well with it but don’t steal the spotlight.

Switching up metal colors can make your stack look more interesting. You can pair white gold, yellow gold, and rose gold to create a rich layered look without losing the classic style that tennis bracelets have. Each metal reflects light, making the overall look more elegant and eye-catching.

How to Style Tennis Bracelets for Any Event

Tennis bracelet layering stands out because it works in so many different ways. To keep things professional, wearing two or three simple pieces creates a clean look that doesn’t take attention away. Their steady sparkle adds a polished touch that pairs well with business wear.

To dress up for evening gatherings, you can go bolder by stacking bracelets with bigger stones or mixing in different textures and styles. The trick lies in keeping the timeless elegance of tennis bracelets while turning up the glam to fit the event.

How to Build a Tennis Bracelet Collection That’s Just Right for You

To build a tennis bracelet collection to layer, start by choosing high-quality pieces that keep their charm long-term. Pick bracelets made with care and precision. Look for stones with great clarity and sparkle. The details in the setting and the smooth finish on the metal should show the skill behind the work.

If you want to begin or grow your tennis bracelet collection, explore VRAI's tennis bracelets. Their selection mixes classic style with modern design. It is a great starting point to layer bracelets in a way that matches your unique look.

Stacking tennis bracelets isn’t just trendy. It offers a classic way to highlight the beauty of each piece while showing off its charm together. Whether you’re new to trying this sleek style or want to improve your collection, tennis bracelets bring a mix of elegance and flexibility that fits into any jewelry collection.

FROM RANGE TO FIELD: HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT RIFLE FOR YOR SHOOTING NEEDS

November 11, 2025

Whether you're dialing in a target from 300 yards or tracking game through dense terrain, the ammo you load into your rifle is just as important as the rifle itself. With so many calibers, bullet types, and loads on the market, choosing the right rifle ammunition can feel like navigating a maze. That’s where Able’s Ammo steps in—offering expert guidance, deep inventory, and trusted products for marksmen of all kinds.

In this article, we break down everything you need to know about choosing the right rifle ammo—and how Able’s makes that decision easier, more affordable, and more precise. Check out Able's Ammo Shotgun Shells and explore what they can offer!

1. Understand Your Shooting Purpose

Before anything else, ask yourself: What am I shooting for? Ammo used for hunting deer is vastly different from what you'd use for punching holes in paper or hitting steel targets. Able’s curates rifle ammunition specifically designed for all use cases—from long-range competition to ethical big-game harvests.

2. Matching Caliber to Platform

Not all rifles shoot the same caliber—and shooting the wrong one can be dangerous. At Able’s Ammo

, you’ll find a full range of options for popular calibers like .223 Remington, .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, .30-06 Springfield, and more. Their easy navigation and search tools help you quickly match your firearm to the exact cartridge it requires.

3. Bullet Type Matters More Than You Think

Full Metal Jacket (FMJ), Hollow Point (HP), Soft Point (SP), Ballistic Tip—the type of bullet you use affects everything from terminal performance to penetration depth. Whether you're hunting coyotes or zeroing a new optic, Able’s provides a wide selection and guidance on the best bullet type for your objective.

4. Grain Weight and Velocity: Why It Counts

Bullet weight—measured in grains—can significantly change how a round behaves. Heavier bullets generally penetrate deeper, while lighter ones travel faster and flatter. Able’s makes it easy to compare grain weights across brands and loads, giving you the confidence to choose the best match for your shooting style.

5. Range Practice vs. Hunting Loads

It’s not economical—or necessary—to burn through expensive hunting rounds at the range. Instead, practice with affordable FMJ rounds and save your premium expanding rounds for the field. With case pricing and bulk discounts, Able’s Ammo lets you train smarter and hunt sharper.

6. Hunting Season? Stock Up Early

During peak hunting seasons, ammo availability can shrink fast. Able’s keeps an eye on supply trends and stocks early, ensuring that hunters get access to their preferred loads before they vanish from shelves. Whether you're after whitetail, elk, hogs, or varmints, you’ll find ammo tailored to your game and region.

7. Premium Brands That Deliver Consistency

When it comes to precision, consistency is everything. Able’s offers top-tier brands like Hornady, Nosler, Federal Premium, Barnes, and Winchester—names trusted by competitive shooters, professional guides, and everyday hunters. These brands are known for reliable ignition, stable powder burn, and tight tolerances, shot after shot.

8. Bulk Ordering Made Simple

If you’re a high-volume shooter or prefer to prep in advance, bulk ordering is a smart move. Able’s Ammo makes it easy to stockpile your go-to loads with bulk pricing, case quantities, and real-time inventory so you can plan with confidence and avoid last-minute scrambles.

9. Ammo for All Skill Levels

Whether you're sighting in your first rifle or refining your sub-MOA grouping, Able’s provides ammo options that meet you where you are. With everything from entry-level ball ammo to match-grade precision rounds, the platform supports growth, learning, and performance improvement at any stage.

10. Expert Advice, Fast Shipping, and No Hassle

Still not sure which ammo fits your needs? Able’s knowledgeable team is always on hand to guide you through the process. And with fast, nationwide shipping and accurate stock counts, you get what you need—when you need it—without delays or guesswork.

Final Thoughts: Load with Confidence, Shoot with Purpose

Choosing the right rifle ammo doesn’t have to be overwhelming—especially with a resource like Able’s Ammo by your side. With a wide selection, premium quality, and tailored support, they help you shoot smarter, hunt better, and train with purpose.

WHY EVERY MEDICAL SPA NEEDS A LICENSED MEDICAL DIRECTOR

November 7, 2025

Med spas have expanded quickly as more people look for safe ways to enhance appearance and support overall wellness. These centers blend cosmetic treatments with clinical care, offering services like injectables, laser procedures, and IV hydration. Because these are medical treatments, every med spa needs a licensed medical director to guide safety, oversee procedures, and ensure the work follows accepted medical standards. For new or growing clinics, it’s essential to know how to find a medical director who understands both compliance and the business side of aesthetic care.

The Growing Demand for Med Spas and Medical Oversight

The beauty and wellness field has evolved, and med spas now stand at the center of that change. As more clients seek treatments with noticeable results, the need for strong medical supervision has grown alongside the industry.

The Rise of Med Spas as Beauty and Wellness Destinations

Med spas attract clients who want real improvements backed by proven methods. Procedures such as Botox, fillers, microneedling, and laser work can be effective, but they require the right training and clinical oversight. A licensed medical director helps ensure each treatment is chosen and performed safely.

The Blurred Line Between Medical and Cosmetic Treatments

Many services offered in med spas used to be limited to medical clinics. Injections, chemical peels, and laser therapies must follow proper technique and hygiene. A medical director provides the structure and supervision needed to keep these treatments safe.

Why Professional Supervision Matters in Hybrid Health Services

A med spa is part relaxation, part clinical care. The medical director ensures every procedure remains within safe boundaries, supports long-term results, and maintains a level of professionalism clients can rely on.

The Role and Responsibilities of a Licensed Medical Director

A medical director shapes the clinical side of a med spa. Their work goes beyond signing off on treatments—they build the systems that make care safe, consistent, and trustworthy.

Ensuring Patient Safety and Treatment Accuracy

Before treatments take place, the medical director reviews medical history, health risks, and suitability. This reduces complications and helps match each client with treatments that fit their needs.

Overseeing Clinical Protocols and Staff Training

Every treatment follows clear guidelines that the medical director establishes. They educate staff, maintain sterile practices, and create steps for emergency response. Continued training keeps skills sharp and outcomes steady.

Maintaining Regulatory Compliance and Ethical Standards

Medical aesthetics falls under state regulations. The medical director keeps the spa compliant by reviewing licenses, approving treatment plans, and maintaining required documentation.

Managing Medical Emergencies and Follow-Up Care

Even common cosmetic procedures can involve unexpected reactions. The medical director handles these situations and ensures the client receives proper follow-up care, reinforcing safety and trust.

Legal and Ethical Importance of Medical Oversight

In many places, medical oversight is required by law for services such as injectables and laser work. Without proper supervision, a med spa risks legal action, fines, or closure.

Compliance with State and Federal Regulations

Each state sets rules for what staff may do and under which conditions. The medical director ensures the spa follows these laws closely, preventing regulatory issues and protecting clients.

Protecting the Spa from Liability Risks

Inconsistent safety practices can lead to harm and damage the spa’s reputation. A medical director reduces these risks by maintaining clear protocols and accurate documentation.

Upholding Patient Trust and Public Credibility

Clients are more likely to return when they know a licensed professional stands behind the work being done. Medical oversight signals that the spa values safety—not just trends.

The Business Benefits of Having a Medical Director

Beyond safety and compliance, strong medical leadership contributes to lasting business success.

Elevating Reputation and Credibility

Reputation guides growth in aesthetics. A med spa with clear medical oversight is viewed as responsible and dependable—qualities that attract and keep clients.

Expanding Services Safely

With the right guidance, a spa can offer more advanced treatments with confidence. A medical director ensures new services are introduced thoughtfully and safely.

Building Client Confidence Through Professional Leadership

Clients want both results and reassurance. Knowing that a medical professional oversees treatments builds that confidence and encourages long-term loyalty.

Enhancing Staff Performance and Consistency

Clear direction helps teams work smoothly. The medical director supports staff through ongoing education and ensures care stays consistent for every client.

Choosing the Right Licensed Medical Director

The right medical director helps set the tone of the spa’s culture and long-term success.

Qualifications and Certifications to Look For

The medical director should be a licensed physician with training in aesthetics or related fields. Additional credentials show they understand both patient care and treatment technique.

Alignment with the Spa’s Mission and Goals

A shared philosophy between leadership and the medical director keeps daily operations clear and harmonious. This alignment strengthens both outcomes and communication.

Ongoing Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

Regular communication between the medical director and the team supports growth. Together, they refine procedures and adjust services as the industry evolves.

The Future of Med Spas Under Medical Leadership

As clients continue to look for safe, effective treatments, medical directors will play an even larger role in shaping med spa practice.

Integrating Wellness and Aesthetics

Med spas are expanding beyond cosmetic results to include whole-body health approaches. Medical oversight ensures these offerings remain balanced and appropriate.

Adapting to Evolving Healthcare Regulations

Regulations and treatment methods change. A medical director keeps the spa informed and prepared, reducing disruption and risk.

Setting the Standard for Safety and Innovation

Advancement in aesthetics only matters when safety comes first. Medical directors keep that standard in place.

Conclusion

A licensed medical director is essential to the structure of a med spa. Their oversight ensures treatments are safe, staff are prepared, and services follow medical standards. With this leadership in place, med spas offer care rooted in trust, skill, and responsibility—providing results clients can rely on.

THE BEST SUPPLEMENTS TO POWER THROUGH BURNOUT

November 6, 2025

Burnout isn’t just a buzzword anymore, it’s an all-too-common state of physical and mental depletion that hits professionals, athletes, parents, and everyone in between. If it shows up as brain fog, low motivation, restless sleep, or chronic fatigue, the result is the same: you feel like you’re running on empty. And in today’s always-on culture, bouncing back requires more than just a weekend off.

If you’re looking for a science-backed boost, nutritional supplements can offer targeted support. From calming adaptogens to magnesium for nervous system balance, here are the best supplements to power through burnout – starting with a standout from the experts at Nutrition Geeks.

1. Ashwagandha Calm+ by Nutrition Geeks

When it comes to burnout, stress is usually the spark. Ashwagandha Calm+ by Nutrition Geeks is specifically designed to help your body reset from the inside out. This formula taps into the power of adaptogens, natural stress-fighting compounds, to support cortisol balance, reduce daily tension, and bring your energy levels back to baseline. Formulated by PhD scientists, it contains clinically studied KSM-66® Ashwagandha, one of the most bioavailable forms on the market. It also supports better sleep, emotional balance, and recovery from long-term stress. For a more comprehensive approach, it can be bundled with Magnesium Glycinate or Sleep+ formulas for holistic support. This geeky blend isn’t just for yogis or wellness pros – it’s a practical option for anyone juggling high workloads and mental load.

Shop Nutrition Geeks supplements and build a burnout recovery routine that actually works.

2. Vitabiotics Ultra Magnesium

A well-known name in the supplement space, Vitabiotics offers an ultra magnesium formula that supports muscle and nerve function. It’s suitable for daily use and can be a gentle addition to a general wellness plan. Designed to support tiredness and fatigue, it offers a familiar option from a long-established brand and is often found in UK high street wellness stores. This supplement might appeal to those who want something simple and widely available. It’s a decent pick for those easing into magnesium use.

3. Solgar Rhodiola Root Extract

Solgar’s Rhodiola offers support for emotional resilience and mental stamina. Rhodiola is another adaptogen that has a growing fanbase for its potential to enhance stress resistance. This single herb formula keeps things straightforward and is made by a legacy brand known for traditional quality. It’s also non-GMO, vegan, and gluten-free. While not a game-changer for everyone, it’s a reasonable addition to a supplement stack when exploring herbal support.

4. MAG365 Magnesium Supplement

MAG365 delivers a magnesium citrate blend that is known for its bioavailability. Designed to be mixed with water, it creates a lightly fizzy drink which some may find more pleasant than capsules. The formula focuses solely on magnesium, an essential nutrient for recovery and calm, and is available in flavored options for better compliance. It may support muscle relaxation and nerve health. This supplement may suit those who struggle with sleep or feel "tired but wired" at the end of the day.

5. Together Health Stress Aid

Together Health blends whole food nutrients with adaptogens like schisandra and holy basil in their Stress Aid capsules. It positions itself as a natural choice with a clean ingredient list. This option is 100% vegan and made with food-based ingredients, including a mix of adaptogenic herbs. It’s also packaged with sustainability in mind. It’s an option for those who prefer a whole-food approach and are looking for gentler daily support.

6. Nature’s Way Maca Root

Maca Root is commonly linked to energy and hormonal balance, and Nature’s Way brings this South American herb into a simple, capsule-based format. This focused formula features one main active ingredient and is popular in traditional wellness circles. It’s plant-based and accessible. Some users report increased stamina and mood stability with daily use, though results can vary from person to person.

7. BioCare NT Intensive

BioCare's NT Intensive formula is aimed at supporting neurotransmitter function, containing amino acids, magnesium, and nutrients like vitamin B6. It’s designed with mental focus in mind. Combining several supportive nutrients in one sachet, this practitioner-formulated option is respected in clinical settings and targets energy metabolism and nervous system health. It may be suitable for people looking for a more comprehensive formula, particularly in high-demand lifestyles.

Building a Burnout Recovery Routine That Works

Burnout doesn’t disappear overnight, it requires consistent action and long-term changes. Supplements can be a valuable part of your recovery toolkit, but they work best when paired with other wellness pillars like sleep, boundaries, and real food.

One essential strategy is managing screen time. With the average person checking their phone over 58 times a day and spending more than 3 hours on screens, reducing exposure can have a significant impact on mental clarity and stress. Likewise, incorporating intentional rest and scheduled breaks into your week gives your nervous system the downtime it desperately needs.

According to experts, "Supplements are very important, especially a multiple vitamin... and fish oil because it has omega-3 fatty acids and they have been found to lower depression, dementia, ADD, and people who kill themselves."

That said, balance is essential. As pointed out in the book 7 Habits of Skinny Women, "If you eat a balanced diet you get all the vitamins and minerals you need and you don't need any supplement and overdosing can actually be more harmful."

Movement also plays a huge role. You don’t need to start an intense training program – even daily walking or light yoga can make a difference. Combine that with hydration, a magnesium-rich diet, and sleep hygiene, and you’ve got the foundations of burnout recovery.

Final Thoughts

If you're feeling drained, on edge, or like you're constantly pushing past your limits, it's time to start taking your recovery seriously. Supplements won’t solve everything, but the right ones can offer your body the support it needs to reset and rebuild.

And if you're going to start somewhere, make it with Nutrition Geeks supplements, the kind of science-backed support that brings real results without the fluff. Because burnout doesn't just need a break, it needs a smarter, gentler comeback plan.

THE POWER OF HAIR OILS IN OUR ROUTINE

November 6, 2025

When it comes to being out and about, we’re always deciding between whether our hair will be worn up, down, under hats, etc. Our hair routines vary whether we are doing it quickly or we are looking to find our next masterpiece! When it comes to the tools that we use, many of us are constantly adding to our essentials and many times the seasons also dictate how we work with our hair! We use a number of products to ensure that it looks healthy whether we’re in the shower, a salon, while we sleep, and what we do right before we head out the door! A truly hero product for our tresses are hair oils. Hair oils are deeply moisturizing as they make sure to supply the nourishing nutrients (vitamins and antioxidants) for our follicles so that they’re soft and easy to manage for all the styles that we put it through. These oils also create a much needed protective barrier on the shaft so that it is not taking in environmental damage from the elements of UV rays, hair styling, and pollution. We love that it adds that shine that we all want to enjoy when we’re out and about.

At Amika, their hair oil is lightweight and ensures that your hair is strong, smooth, and it is serious about protecting your hair and aims to reduce breakage that can happen. Other reasons to enjoy using hair oils in general is the fact that it also reduces frizz and makes it easier to smooth down flyaways for a polished and put together look. Some hair oils also provide scalp health which soothes the area and reduces dandruff. If you have thick or curly hair, these oils can help the detangling process by making it easier to comb through your hair. From a styling standpoint, hair oils can add volume, texture, or hold which is really important when you are going for a designated look.

Regardless of what hair oil you opt to use, you should always think about what works for your hair type and be mindful of how much you use so that you don’t weigh your hair down! Also keep in mind at what point in your hair process you will engage in hair oiling as well as the technique that works best for you when it comes to applying it.

THE GOLDEN BACHELOR S2. E8. | THE FINAL TWO + FANTASY SUITES

November 5, 2025

PHOTO CREDIT | Disney/Maarten de Boer

This week on The Golden Bachelor, we’ve made it to the Antigua with Cindy and Peg! Although his feelings are getting stronger, he notes that Cindy has said that she is falling in love with him and that Peg isn’t. He also lets us know he is looking forward to the Fantasy Suites as well. We see Mel and Jesse Palmer tossing a football back and forth before chatting and going for a beer.

They talk about both women, dates he went on with him, why he is being careful not to say words that are just said casually and carelessly. Jesse reminds him that these are the last days with them and he needs to let them know where he stands with them. He realizes that he knows he has feelings, but he needs to share it with them as they deserve to know that as well. We know that Cindy has thoughts about the fact that she could still feel his walls up during their Hometowns.

Peg has the first date and she lets us know that he fit in well with her family. She also notes that he needs to communicate his feelings to say what he wants and needs. She is excited to take the time with him to figure this out as it’s important for her to know. They navigate the island and she shares that she has been guarded and knows she needs to connect and be emotionally available. When she asks him about it, he deflects to talk about the dune buggy that they took which catches her off guard. As they continue onto the night portion of their date, she knows she will ask the tough questions to hear more about him prior to going to the Fantasy Suites. They decided to spend additional time with one another back at the suite. We see them the next morning and we can tell that their connection has increased.

We see Cindy waiting for their date and she knows that this is an important date for them to be on. Their date involves them laying out on a boat. He lets her know that they will be swimming with stingrays which she has done before (he thought that he was going to get her out of her comfort zone). She can tell that Mel is a little nervous for this activity, but Cindy is super excited and comfortable in this activity. Eventually Mel gets into it and plays witht he stingrays.

They continue onto dinner and Cindy wants to know how he feels. As they talk, Cindy lets him know that he never has questions for her and that he doesn’t feel free to share. She asks him what is holding him back from truly talking about them, his feelings for her, and more. He says that it is difficult for him to say things when he can’t calculate the costs. She also asked him why he waited later in life to get married.

The finale is next week!
