Taking care of our bodies is an ongoing process and not just one that we do when we realize that we are getting sick. Yunara Life focuses on combining preventative medicine with behavioral science and selfcare! It allows us to make sure that we are positively reinforced to make healthy behaviors as we navigate our days. Their first location opens this Summer in Gramercy.
Founded by Erika Chen, FNP-BC, she trained at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospitals with 15 years experience in the ICU, ER, primary care, and aesthetics!
By believing that healthcare should keep people well, she provides evidence based medicine, behavioral science, technology, and restorative care in a new way by placing it in a health sancutary where people can look forward to coming to it.
Yunara is designed to be a one-stop destination for both healthcare and self-care, so their range of services is intentionally broad. They offer advanced bloodwork beyond what is typically ordered in primary care, longevity protocols, peptide oversight, hormone optimization, DEXA scans, and comprehensive exercise physiology and performance testing, including VO₂ max, lactate threshold, and gait analysis. They are also introducing the only AI-powered treadmill of its kind in the U.S., which scans the body while walking or running to assess movement and form.
On the self-care side, they offer medical aesthetics including Botox, chemical peels, and advanced microneedling with exclusive Korean serums featuring NAD, exosomes, and PDRN, as well as stem cell facials, full-body red light therapy, personalized sunlight therapy, performance recovery, zero-gravity adaptive massage, and massage and bodywork incorporating cupping, gua sha, and other restorative modalities. The Yunara app ties the experience together, helping members understand their health data, follow personalized recommendations, build healthier habits, and earn rewards for engaging with their health.
The 6,000-square-foot Gramercy flagship was intentionally designed as a health sanctuary, not simply another medical or wellness center.
